Uh...guys...did anyone besides me see the whole 'you have to be a Brit to get an audition, much less the part' statement by ABright5. I mean, sorry to be the bastage realist (everyone calls us pessimists, but they can go chew on some artichoke hearts), but I'd really like to SEE some American get an equal shot at the part (as I'm one of the hopefuls). Even if I disagreed with some on personal philosophy, I'd hate to see all these cool persons built up and then knocked down to the ground when they're told 'Yeah, you'd be great for the role, but there's something about you that you can't change and that shouldn't have an effect on your chances, if you can portray the character perfectly, but we don't like it, so sorry kid, but get outta here and go home.'. Dreamin is great, but a glorious reality is better. Anyone here got any serious solutions to this problem (if it in fact does exist), in order to give the hopefuls who AREN'T BRITISH a fair shot at breaking into the biz. I'm throwing away my pride, so come on let's seriously help these guys!! I read the list of suggestions, but they wouldn't help if your aspirations were already killed in the crib/cradle. Oh and BTW, when I use cap locks, I'm not yelling, I'm emphasizing. Just to make that clear, before I offend anyone.
