What's with the stretching of the page? And yes, I was referring to the dumb animals meaning the ones that don't speak.
 
Well, it's kinda hard to explain the animals/human issue.

But like I said, the players pushed for a long time for a way to non-fatally subdue animals.

As regarding their presence in tombs/abandoned cities etc, 3 possibilities:

1. When humans build a city or whatever, they force the animals out. When the city becomes lost or abandoned, the animals and jungle move right back in, taking up their former territories.

2. Animals will make their home wherever they can find it. If they managed to accidentally find a way into a human structure, they'd think it would make a nice cave or den and set up their home there.

2. They were part of a defense/deathtrap for the tomb. Some enterprising tomb designer ordered a breeding colony of animals and sealed them inside with a "steady food supply". Most of which comes from inexperienced archaeologists and treasure hunters........ ;) :eek:
