Didn't I post a way to get you unstuck from there before? or are you stucked somewhere else now?Yeah
I'm only partway through the game myself.
I just did the part where you have to outline Angels on a stained glass window to unlock the door to proceed.
But I really think I need to replace my computer to continue.
I set the graphics to lowest and the game is still moving in slow motion! 
Every Tomb Raider version that is released seems to take a leap forward in computing requirements.
But I really love it so far!
Especially since they gave Lara unarmed fighting back, I loved that in Tomb Raider VI. I spent most of that game kicking and punching my way through the enemies!
As regards walkthroughs, I purchased this:
Tomb Raider VIII Official Guide
I find it easier to refer to a book instead of alt-tabbing to a website all the time.
And it's also interesting to read the background information on the game in the other sections.

I posted the way to get unstuck from the lava room. It's on page 24 in this thread. Is that the place where you still are stuck?We are always stuck..
I did what they said there and I got out of there.
I had that problem too. I couldn't do it fast enough and when I tried, I messed up. So I decided to practice to do it right first, instead of fast. I was finally able to do it right with at least a second or two to spare.

I've been playing Underworld but I am only at the second level after the Mediterranean Sea. I haven't advanced much because I need a walkthrough to play that kind of game, and I don't have one. In that game I hate to miss any item so it takes me longer without a walkthrough.
