the offical Lara Croft/Tomb Raider Club

I am so annoyed at the number of "treasures" you have to find. They are everywhere!!!! Now, I probably would not mind picking them up or whatever except... they're everywhere even when you are driving the motorcycle! So if you're like me and must collect everything the first time around, you'll have to stop the motorcycle every few meters!!! Most annoying thing!!!

I know what you mean. Has there been talk about a new one coming out anytime soon, and what happens at the end of Underworld, because I want to know how it ends.

I don't know how it ends yet! I haven't gotten to it.
I stopped when she got back on the big ship cause it seemed repetitive to me and I didn't want to do it again. I'll pick it up this weekend and finish it. I'll keep you posted.

That's the thing I hate about these "new" Tomb Raiders.

Anniversary, Legend etc have completely rewritten Lara's history.

I assumed this was to sync up the game with those <expletive> movies.

Original version:

Plane crash, happened when Lara was 19 (on her way to a skiing vacation). She was the only survivor.

When Lara started Tomb Raiding, her parents disowned her, although she remained on good terms with her aunt (in spite of the savage corgi).

When Lara was assumed deceased, her parents (both of them, still alive) attended the memorial service.

And as for Natla, what the heck?

She wasn't some goddess who could turn into a flaming winged monster. She was just a very smart woman who had a lot of scientific knowledge from the most advanced civilization that ever existed on this planet.

Although it's not stated directly, I always assumed Natla used clones to "take the heat off her" from Lara, making her escape after activating the Pyramid.

Thank you for posting buckmana!! I knew there was something wrong with the story line in the newest games. I just couldn't figure it out, or was to lazy to try.

I still remember fondly the very first game on playstation, I just fell in love with that game and the whole story behind it. The newer games have that gimmick of trying to save someone, instead just being pure adventure for the sake of the adventure.

Well I admit that I never paid attention to the storyline and on the first one I never got past the caves and on the second the tigers at the beginning scared me to death and I didn't get much further then that. At the moment Legend is the first, and only, Lara game I have ever completed. Sam is good at the jumping and the swimming and Tori is good at the fights against massive opponents and they insist that I'm alright all round. But I don't believe them.

Where are Sami and Tori? I miss them!! And you probably are good all around, you just don't want to believe it.

Helllllo! I be here. Sometimes.

I haven't played Toomie in an aaaaage. And you are good allround Bexs. I freak at the bits where things jump out lol. But I help with my timeing advice lol
