The Potty Mouth Bucket

lol well its kinda a good thing that Will isn't uncomfortable with swearing cause in one of the books he calls Reepicheep the A word lol but i can hear Will saying a bad word before Skandar but that is probably because i can remember what Will sounds like lol
 
I'd just like to know how they performed the whole ridding of the money when theyd have to pay up for swearing. Like..who goes around with money in their pockets? I wonder is theyd have like a ceremony for paying up or something..now thats just sad. *sigh* If they were in the US they could arrest Georgie for not allowing one of the First Amendments: Freedom of Speech. :rolleyes:
 
I think Georgie is very smart girl - so sweet. And this was so great idea - although as you guys have said, I can't imagine William swearing... He is so sweet-big-brother - type... But Skandar :p yeah, I can hear him swear!
I think it would be great, if they'll put the potty mouth bucket in our school! Because when you are in corridors, nearly every word, that you hear there, is swearing... But that William's phone ranging and tune -case was so hilarious, although I think Georgie was too hard for dear William! :D

At the time of the Narnia books' publication, the word "ass" was not considered to be foul, nor did it mean what it means today (i.e. the body part used for sitting, as well as less mentionable things). It meant, essentially, the same thing as "donkey". Indeed, if you read the story of Balaam in a King James Bible, you will see that it features that very same term. Similarly, even though the LWW book says that Lucy was "gay and golden-haired", it does not mean what it would have meant today.

Another director who gets good marks for creating a child-friendly environment is Robert Rodriguez, who did the "Spy Kids" movies: among his policies were that the crew were not allowed to smoke or swear on set.

On another note, it does seem that Georgie was abusing the privilege some. I mean, if she'd told me to pay $40 because she didn't like my cel's ring-tone, I'd have dumped her in the potty-mouth bucket. Headfirst.
 
Ok, i just had this really random idea: we should have a potty mouth thread. Whenever someone swears, they have to post. And I have a rhyme for them to post when they swear:

I'm a little prarie flower,
Growing taller by the hour,
I wish I may,
I wish I might,
Take back my words that are not right.

If anyone likes this idea, let me know. I'm gonna make a thread for this in the Duffer land!!!

OMG, that is such a great idea! We should make a thread for this in every single thread in this forum! then, we can like, "discipline" those people with like, bad mouths...no offense to those people who do... :p
