The Princess and the Frog (2009)

I agree that most of the sequels are not necessary, and that's part of the reason why I used to dislike Disney. I made a commitment a few years ago: if a movie didn't reach theaters, there was no point seeing it. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part, I follow that rule.

I personally like 2-D much better than the CGI films. I liked the Pixar movies from Toy Story-the Incredibles. But Cars, Ratatouille, and WALLE were stupid and forgettable films in my opinion. And Valiant, Chicken Little, and Cars were nowhere near as good as the 2-D films. The reason the traditional animation films were classics were because they spent a lot of time on them.

By the way, I havent heard anywher about the Princess and the Frog being the last animated movie. Actually, I heard if it does well they will start making more traditonal animated films. This looks like it will be a good movie. I think it would be better than Disney's recent 2-D films(Atlantis , Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, etc.)

That was thought the same when Brother Bear came out. Only, it's because it was a good movie that they stopped making 2D. They figured that Brother Bear would be the finale. and now Princess and Frog will be the encore.
