The Professors Mansion... location

Hi all,
I was hoping someone could do me the biggest favour. I've been a fan of the original series since it came out and as a result I'll be visiting Wales this weekend. I'm dying to go visit the mansion that they filmed in, and I was hoping that someone could watch it again... or even go right to the end of the credits and see where they filmed. It would really mean the world to me.
Thanks

According to Anna Popplewell's diary in the fan book, she says she was at location on Monte Cecilia House, and that is in NZ as it also says Helen Clark, our priminster visited them later that aafternoon!
Look it up on a search engine, it is in NZ and they do give tours!

I'd lke to know too but all I found out now was that the inspiration for it was in Beflast, Ireland. (thats Lewis's house, childhood country home; Little Lea)
I almost got to go visit Lewis' house but it fell thoguh...so mayby sometime later. I think hta would be rally fun. :D

I stayed at L'Abri Fellowship in Greatham UK and that old manor house reminded me of the Professors house from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Nothing like the Disney movie but it is a big old country Manor house that I am sure would have taken kids during the war when they got them out of the big cities. Beautiful English countryside and so many rooms! You don't have to go looking for movie sets, the magic is there in so many of these old manor houses scattered throughout the UK.

If you know how to search you can find that Llanvihangel Court was used in the 1988 BBC tc mini series: This Grade I listed Tudor manor house, situated near Abergavenny (roughly 20-30 minutes north of Newport), served as the exterior, the arrival, and some interior scenes for Professor Kirke's home
