They walked into the kitchen, and saw Linda and Eric standing next to a very large box. “Is that for moi?” Caitlyn asked, her eyes very round.

“Yep,” Eric said. “Open it.”

Caitlyn knelt down next to the box, carefully untying the ribbon. She jumped when the lid popped up briefly, then carefully opened it. Caitlyn was greeted by a fuzzy, bouncing puppy that was trying to taste her nose. “For ME?!” she exclaimed, cuddling the chocolate pup.

Linda laughed. “Yes, she’s for you. Her name is Nikana.”

“Nikana. I like it a lot,” Caitlyn said. She put Nikana down in the box, then stood up to give Eric and Linda each a hug. “Thank you so much!”

She then picked up Nikana and told her, “Now, don’t let Solo intimidate you, because even though he’s big, he wouldn’t hurt a fly!”

Everybody laughed. “Come on, I made waffles for breakfast,” Linda said.


Two hours later, there was a knock at the door. “I’ll get it!” Justin said as he put down the Twister spinner he had in his hands and walking toward the front door.

“Hurry up, you left us very twisted!” Caitlyn called after him from the Twister mat.

Hey, sorry I haven't been posting, writer's block is holding me down :)(), along with the holiday hustle and bustle. ;) I'll try to make time to write more soon, though!
 
Yipes! Sorry it's been so long, I just can't get writing!:eek: School doesn't help either..... I'll try to write more right now!

Not long after they heard Justin opened the door, Jesse felt a tug on her ponytail. “Hi, Tessie!” giggled a two-year-old boy from behind Jesse.

“Hi, Kennie!” Jesse said, carefully untangling herself to give Ken a hug. Caitlyn did the same, picking up Ken and spinning him around once.

“Hey, Jessalynn!” Jesse’s uncle Freddie said, giving her a hug.

“Hi, Uncle Freddie,” Jesse said, hugging him back.

“Do I get a hello?” Aunt Sandré teased.

After hugs were given, Justin said, “OK, everybody, we need to go into the spare room. Jesse, Katie, and I have something in there.”
