YEAH!! I've always loved the villains. When everyone was screaming over Luke Skywalker, I was like, no...Darth Vader all the way :D

haha. im so bipolar when it comes down to things though because in narnia i also love the good side....and when i grow up (daydreaming) i want to marry either a hitman or a knight lol nothing in between will do ;)

I like the witch :D But I love the good characters also.I suppose I'm both good and evil then LOL :) But why..I don't know.Mostly because I just love Tilda Swinton's acting,but...that doesn't explain why I like her as a character.I'm a bit confused myself actually..

Finding that the character appeals to you and approving of what she does are two different things.

Obviously the film designers wanted Tilda S. to impress you. Her clothing, her bearing, her diction, her movements. Everyone knows the villain should be fascinating. Just look at the design work that went into Disney's "Maleficent" in Sleeping Beauty. They wanted the villain to be "cool" and she was.

Without interesting villains, action/adventure stories don't fly.

Indeed, a boring villain is almost as bad as ' no villain.' I liked the witch's personality a lot in the Magician's Nephew as well as in LWW, and it was terrific that they found an unusual-looking beauty to play Jadis ( Tilda). She had that rare combination of elegance and evil mixed into one. You couldn't help but notice her right away...that grace and bearing she combined with a moody personality...yup. I'm her fan. And yet, I'm an equal fan of Aslan too...the two characters in opposition to each other.

Maleficent and the queen from Snow White are two of my other faves, but for Disney villains...the greatest one was from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the evil judge Claude Frollo, who was as sinister and twisted as they come.

what is cough cough and why u like her?
Ehm,don't you know how to cough? (;) ) I like her because I love Tilda Swinton (ok DON'T get me wrong here..)and I love strong, independent and powerful female characters because they are not easy to find.

yes I know how 2 cough yea I like her but she lies ok she rocks some times :p

Part of a villain's duty is to be bad....and lying to or deceiving the heroes in some ways is one thing they almost always do.

I think for most people, they either like the battle scene or they like Tilda Swinton, not the Witch as an entity. Although, with no witch, there's no story.
