This is purely in Damians point of view, so bare with me on the whole not knowing what Chris is thinking. Comment, please! and be brutal while i have time to edit it =D read on, i guess.

I groaned. “Why doesn’t Natalie like me?”

“Simple.” Chris said. “She’s a year older than you, and she doesn’t even like Celtic Thunder. And besides, if she did like you, you wouldn’t like her.”

“True.” Joey said. “You only seem to like girls that don’t like you back, especially now that you’re a big star and all.”

I sighed again, resting my head on the side of Chris’ bed. She flipped through the channels, which was pointless as the TV was muted and Viva la Vida by Coldplay was playing from her computer.

She sighed and changed the channel to the one that was set up to her PS2. Joey gave her a controller and kept the other for himself. They started playing Sonic Racers.

Honestly, I just wondered what Natalie was doing right now. Listening to My Chemical Romance? Reading a book?

“Chris, you’re a girl.” I said.

“Just noticing this?”

“Help me! What do girls like?”

“Oooh, technically, she’s a girl but…”

“Shut up.” She said as she passed his character. “If we’re talking about Natalie, just leave her alone for a while. She happens to be a lot like you, ya’ know, only liking people who ignore her.”

“That’s really smart.” I said, looking at her.

“That’s Chris, beauty, brains, and a dude in every other sense.”

Chris was, like Joey said, a lot like a guy. She was a skater, she played video games, she was great at sports, and she absolutely hated hanging out with girls. Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention, music was her life.

“Why do you hate girls so much?”

“Because they travel in packs like wild wolves and with one word, they can totally destroy a person’s life.”

Joey laughed. Just then, Chris won.

“Chris, who do you have a crush on anyway?”

She rolled from her stomach to her back, and hung her head over the side of the bed, so it dangled beside me, and stared at Joey, who was sitting near the TV.
“No-one, right now. The last person I liked was Jimmy Lucarellie, back in pre-K”

“Really?” I asked, laughing.

“He looked better when we were 5. No buck teeth, no braces, no pimples, not glasses…”

“Hey, I had braces!”

“Yeah, but it worked on you… on him it’s just…” she cringed. “Hey, hand me a piece of pizza.”

I did as told, handing her a piece of cheese pizza.

“And why haven’t you liked a guy since?” Joey said.

“I don’t know… I just haven’t felt attracted to a guy, every time I hang out with someone, they end up being a bud, and nothing more.”

Joey laughed again. “You’re so… un-girly.”

“You’re right! If any of us is girly, it’s probably the skirt-wearing one.” She said, pointing at me with her thumb.

I pushed her and she nearly fell off the bed.

She hit me with a pillow, which I quickly managed to steal from her. I hit her with it, pushing her full off so she fell into my lap.

Laughing, she hit me again.

“Wow, you two would make a great couple.” Joey said, poking Chris on the shoulder.

“…”

She awkwardly stood up and went to the bathroom. I glared at Joey.

“What?” he asked, trying to sound innocent.

“Nice going, dude!”

“I didn’t do anything!!!!”

thanks and since im too excited to wait... we have more (btw great sig, linds)

Chris jumped up onto Joey’s desk. “So… I talked to Natalie today.”

“Yeah?” I asked.

“Yup.”

“What did she say?”

She put her hand on my shoulder. “Dude, you really should move on.”

I grabbed her shoulders and shook her. “What did she say?”

Chris sighed. “You don’t got a chance.”

I put my head down. “Great.”

“Sorry, bud, it’s just… she doesn’t like 16-year-olds.”

“Ah, well… you’ll just find a new crush within a week, anyway.” Joey said, tuning on some music.

“But Natalie was so… hot.”

Joey shrugged.

“You guys have this thing against seeing personalities.” Chris said.

“You have this thing about not seeing people at all.”

“Har har.”

High School Never Ends started playing.

Chris started singing along with it, pointing at Joey most of the time.

You see, Chris and Joey were in a band called Out Of Boredom and a cover of High School Never Ends was a song they planned to sing in their next CD. They had a few CDs out but they weren’t really famous like me. They didn’t have any girly songs, which was kind of hard to handle since Chris was the main singer and she had a girls voice.

“Damn, I need a girl like you, Chris! Seriously just be my flippin’ girlfriend.” Joey said, putting his hands together in a begging manner. Joey always made jokes about getting together with Chris.

I chuckled and sat down on his bed.

“No.” she said, sticking her nose in the air.

“You really should find a boyfriend.” I said.

“Never.”

“Why not?”

“Two reasons! One: Most guys don’t like me. Two: I have you guys.”

“You have Joey. I’m usually on tour.”

“Okay. So what? Joey’s just fine.”

Joey smiled at her. I looked at her in a ‘come on’ way.

“I don’t need a boyfriend, Damian!”

:3 I feel so loved...
At this rate I'll have it all posted today O.O
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I carried Chris’ guitar as she rode her skateboard slowly next to me. I happened to notice how incredible she looked today.
She wore her hair in two low pigtails that traveled halfway down her back, with a beanie covering the rest of her hair. She wore a black sweatshirt that had a Celtic Thunder pin on it. She also wore old blue jeans and converse shoes.
“Would you quit staring at me?” she asked.
I must have been blushing because she laughed a bit and rolled her eyes.
“Jeez, you’re such a freak sometimes.” she said.
“Do you want me to leave this guitar here?” I asked, or more of threatened, setting it down on the ground.
She glared at me. I laughed.
We got to Joeys house, going into the garage immediately. I watched as she got set up and Joey came downstairs with his bass. Eventually Mike, the drummer, showed up, along with the keyboard player, Rodger. They started by playing Just Listen, a song Chris wrote a while ago.
“Just listen,
The music’s calling,
Just listen,
And stop your bawling.” She sang.
I stared at her as she sang the sad song.
Next, they sang Every Breath You Take which sounded more like Ryan’s than Sting’s.
“What’d you think?” she asked.
“Great!” I said. “Sound just like Mr. Kelly’s!”
“Great, not only do I sound like a guy, I have a raspy voice.”
I laughed. Chris was a tomboy, but she was very charming at times.
I always told her that if her voice didn’t make Out Of Boredom #1, her charm sure would. Yes, even I joked about how lovely Chris was, but I never really saw her like that, at least, not since 2nd grade. In 2nd grade, I had a crush on Chris, and the feelings never arose again, but today, something seemed to be different… I shook the thought out of my head. It was nothing. It was just the heartbreak of having no chance with Natalie talking. That was all.
Well in my mind you need a plot besides the emotions maturing and changing. There needs to be two plots.
Examples:
Lucy but Taller's fic: While her main character is falling in love she is also becoming a singer.
Miss.Sunflower's first fic: While the main character is falling in love she is becoming the dancer for CT
That sort of thing can really expand a story.
*cough*
Girlies, I love the Celtic Thunder fanfic boom, really I do.
But I'm beginning to think here isn't the place for it, you know. I know we are free to talk about other things we like here, but still.....
There IS a forum for Celtic Thunder fanfiction alone. Not for chatting, (so for all of you who don't have time for another forum, it really isn't.) but just to post your stories and get comments.
If you'd like the link let me know.
Maggie there are sooo many other things on this forum that aren't Narnia I seriously don't see a problem with it. Just because we have a lot of people liking another thing and not a bunch of people liking different things doesn't make it a problem.
Just my thoughts.
okay... this ones really really short, but i think you guys might like it ;)
Chris sat down, and before me and Joey could join her… the populars sat with her. Oh no!
“Hey, Prom Queen.” The leader, Tracy, said.
Chris gave me a ‘what the’ look. I shrugged.
“So, since you won that title, we think you can hang with us. You know, as an extra reward.” Tracy continued.
Uh-oh. From the look on her face, Chris was going to flip out big time.
“If I wanted to be in your stupid little club, Trixy, I would be. But the fact that I don’t follow you around, getting you whatever you want, and wearing whatever you want me to wear, shows that I have absolutely no interest in your stupid group. And what kind of outfit is that anyway? I mean seriously, you make them wear something that matches your outfit, which means they have to look hideous like you. So don’t go giving me ‘special privileges’ mkay, Stacy?” Chris said, standing up and sitting with me and Joey.
The two of us clapped for her. “BRAVO!” “ONCORE!”
I could have sworn I saw some of the populars laughing, but I can’t be quite sure.
