I think this should fit in about here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a week before we went on tour and as a goodbye, I gave Chris, Joey, Mike, and Rodger backstage passes. Since the show was already over, Chris was mingling with Neil Byrne, Nigel Wheatley, and Phil Coulter.
“But, we don’t have our instruments…” she said, blushing a little.
“Nonsence! You can use ours.”
Mikes face lit up at the thought of using Declan O'Donoghue’s drums.
“O-okay.”
They walked out to the stage, seeing about 10 people still in the room. I watched as Neil gave Chris his guitar, making her face go bright red, odd for her.
“Even after a day,
But it was oh so magical,
You made yourself known to me,
And then I knew that we belonged,
From the touch of a key,
You slide right up that scale.
Mmm together,
It’s so much to take.
You smile just like the sun,
You cry like winters rain,
You light up my everyday!” Chris sang into a mike.
“We’ll make the memory shine,
As long as I’m yours and your mine,
Nothing can keep us from being,
You and me together,
Naturally in harmony!” Joey and Chris sang the chorus together.
“Your mystery,
With only 12 notes but in this melody,
You’re invisible,
But when you touch how I can feel
You smile just like the sun,
You cry like winters rain,
You light up my everyday!”
“We’ll make the memory shine,
As long as I’m yours and your mine,
Nothing can keep us from being,
You and me together,
Naturally in harmony!” they sang the chorus again.
“What would life be like without you in it every day?
Cold and empty feeling inside.
Oooh without a line to play,
How could I carry on,
When you were gone?”
“We’ll make the memory shine,
As long as I’m yours and your mine,
Nothing can keep us from being,
You and me together,
Naturally in harmony,
Naturally in harmony,
You and me together,
Naturally in harmony,
On and on forever,
Harmony,
Naturally together.” the two of them finished the song.
“So how was it?” Chris asked, looking at the three men sitting in the front row.
“Wow!” Nigel yelled.
“Awesome!” Neil said, clapping.
“Do you want a recording contract?” Phil asked.
And so, Out Of Boredom became a professional band.
Not famous, quite yet, and they have no tours, but they atleast have a recording contract and actaully get paid.
