Tomboys/Boyish girls?

haha...I don't think I've EVER liked pink :eek: Purple is the way to go for me. I like dark colors with my vintage cothes and bright doesn't bother me with the retrois ones...

gentle susan: what do you consider boy things? no need to ask about the girl things, because it comes to no surprise you DO do girl things, because you ARE a girl.
 
I, like many others, am not exactly girly, nor exactly boyish. I think though, personally, there should be a third category, for all those in the midlle people like me!

I sometimes hate how people think I'm SO tom boy-ish. My sister said she thought I wouldn't want her old phone because it's purple, and purple is "girly."
I think to myself, "What am I, a boy?!!"

I'm not really too tom boyish...not into sports or all that, and I'm not girly. So yes, like stumpy said, the middle catergory... =P

I'd consider myself boyish. I love driving my dad's tractor, I like shooting (with bows though I do like revolvers :p), I help stack wood and help my dad with picking up brush, All my friends from school are boys.:D;) I hate spiders though.... and you can't really tell if my slippers are pink or some odd gray color.:p I like darker shirts as much as lighter and I don't really mind wearing either though.

I am slightly girly about my wardrobe, I like purple but I'm still not too fond of pink
 
I am a little bit tomboy-ish considering that I've grown up with a brother and three male cousins. Playing football (soccer) and plumbing are a few of my favourite things to do :D (Except when the plumbing goes horribly wrong :p)

When it comes to my wardrobe I do like to dress up but skirts are a no-no for me. Dresses... maybe, but skirts ... nope. I usually like to wear a nice shirt and jeans :D
 
One thing i see a lot of is people often assume that if you're tomboy you can't be at all interested in girly things, like there's no middle ground. I do take an interest in clothes, and i enjoy the occasional formal event like a dance or something that involves dressing up and doing your hair in elaborate hair styles, and i like shopping and a lot of other girly thinsg. But that doesn't stop me from always being up for a game of rugby (if it's raining and the ground is muddy, so much the better) and when a football game is on, i'll be in the living room right alongside my dad, screaming at the players like they can actually hear me.

Though to be truthful, i think i have more fun playing rugby in the rain than at a formal dance.

I DO!!!!Soccer,basketball,hockey,etc. Anything except cheerleading.Gah.

clothes shopping is another weakness, brought on by my sisters ;) Mainly I can't resist hats and shoes...

The soapy tarp game is steal the bacon
on a huge soapy tarp
with four teams
and you can't tag people, it just goes until the ball crosses the line for some team. It can get pretty dangerous and awesome :D

Ahhhh the sunburn, the surfing, they go together :D
