Twilight with a Twist (the millionth try)

"oh," he was glad. he felt so much like a child. he knitted his brow, "WHy did you say that you chose me after only...a few days?" he asked. he was sure the imprinting only worked to males and so she would have chosen hif for some other reason...what was that reason?

Mara looked at him, "I dont know Rez, I feel so safe and happy around you, its like you fill a part of me that I didn't even know was empty."

"Well that's good...I think." he smiled. he filled a part of her by her own admission and that made him even more happy if that was possible

Mara grinned, "its deffantly good."

he didn't say anything. even though he was on his knees he was eye level with her and her eyes were...amazing

"What are you looking at?" Mara asked, relizing he was looking at something.

"you," he whispered, "everything about you. I want to be able to see you exaclty like this when I'm not with you."

"Why?" Mara asked, "I'm not that intersting."

"To me," he le his fingers rest over her lips and trace her smile, "you are the most interesting person I've ever known and I have known a lot of people."

Mara's smile grew. "I guess that's a good thing."

"oh...its a very good thing."

"How good?" Mara asked as she moved closer, her face only inches from his.

"The very best." he smiled moving his finger from her mouth and placign his hand on her neck

Mara moved even closer, "the very best?" She asked, she could feel his breath on her face.

"Mmm," he nodded. he smiled but didn't kiss her. she was playing a game and he was playing along.

Mara grinned, she triwisted her fingures into his hair, and just looked at him.

"you know this could go on for a very long tiome," he whispered with a grin but he wasn't sure how long he could hold off.

"Mmmhmm" Mara nodded, "or not." She pulled him closer and pressed her lips to his.

he smiled as she kissed him. he could do this for the rest of his life.

Mara's hand moved down his bakc as she kissed him.
