Twilight with a Twist (the millionth try)

Mara asked one of the EMTs is everyone was aright. After she found out they were she looked around for anyone she knew. She saw Rez talking to a girl, it was the same girl that had talked to her earilier. She thought about going over to see if they were ok, but tehy looked fine.

he swalowed hard and looked around, "Keep your voice down." he whispered then he raised his voice to nomal, "I'm fine. lucky I was outside talking to Mara," he smiled and looked around, "Hey," he called to Mara waving his hand for her to come over.
 
"Nobody would believe me even if I told them. Anyway I'm going to head on home now. I think I took in way too much of those fumes. Hi Mara, bye Rez" she said limping towards her mothers car.
 
Sophie was just staring at the wolf boy. She didn't know any other werewolves besides her and Evelyne lived here, but now it seemed like a whole pack of them did! It was strange to her, she didn't even notice the fire, she ran into the trees. No one noticed her, she morphed then. Her white wolf form taking over her human body. Sophie wondered if the others could sence she morphed..... she'd never met another werewolf or vampire before.
 
Rez smiled at Mara, "I'm fine and so is she," he said nodding toward Eliza, "Hey," he called aftrer her, "they will need to inspect you for injuries. I mean you took quite a fall."
 
Sophie stayed a distance away where she could still hear them. Her wolf form made it so she could also pace queitly. The vampire smell was less obvious in the woods. So she was calmer. The school didn't look inviting to her so she decided to just evesdrop on the others for the rest of the day, staying in her wolf form.

"Ok," Mara said. "I think school is over for the day." She looked at Rez, "do you want a ride home?" She felt kinda odd asking him, but so far he'd been the nicest person she'd met, and there was something different about him.
 
he tried got up and winced, "AH!," he exclaimed grabbing his side. he winced again pretending to be hurt. he had to make as best a cover as he could, "Ouch, he said again straightening up.

ic: "Are you okay miss?" one of the firemen asked watching Evelyne limp to her car.
"No.........I think I twisted my ankle while trying to get out" she admitted and unlike Rez she actually wasn't faking it.
"Here..." he hlped her to the ambulance and she cat down on one of the beds. She rolled her trousers up and she had been right. Her ankle had indeed been twisted but in the most awkward and obscure way.
"Oh my goodness" the woman paramedic exclaimed. "I've never seen anything like that before"
Evelyne was starting to regret even mentioning it. "It looks worse than it feels.....honestly". Her ankle bone on her left foot had completely shifted to the right. It looked like she had a huge wart on her foot.
"You're going to need to come down to the hospital"
"Oh no.......I'll be fine" she interrupted getting up. "It's nothing" but the paramedic pulled her back onto the bed.
"You're not going anywhere but the hospital. We'll need to do some tests". She closed to the doors to the ambulance. "You just sit tight"
'How am I going to get out of this?' Evelyne asked herself woriedly.
 
Mara grabbed his arm instinctively, not relising that she had taken her gloves off. "Maybe you should go to the hospital," she said, concerned.
 
Sophie saw what was happening to Evelyne..... she didn't like it, it was going to expose what they were if they even touched her skin!! She didn't know if she could do anything, but she had to think.....
 
Mara nodded, "yeah." She didn't think he was fine, but she wasn't going to argue with him. She slid one arm around him and held his arm with her other hand and lead him to her old dark blue BMW.
 
"Yeah," Mara said as she turned on her car. She glanced over at him, "are you sure you're ok?" She pulled out of the parking lot and headed towards La Push.
 
Mara nodded, "yeah. I stayed far back." She looked around as they entered La Push. She was half expecting werewolfs to come out to attack her. She took a deep breath and kept going. "Where's your house?"
