Untold Hobbit stories

You told me once you got a keychain with him on it :D Or his name. I have him sitting on the couch. Three are sitting on a couch and the small one (battle scale format) is standing next to me on my desk.

i love all of those stories nessa i liked the one about pip he never fails to get himself into some sort of trouble Fool- of- a- a-took. The sam one was good but Sad and the Bilbo one very good it almost sounds like he found the mirror of Galadreil(sp?)

Pip and Sam are my fave hobbits

At last, I have to say it. My favourite stories were the ones of Pippin and the Apple, and the other one is of Bilbo and the Magic Mirror. I thought at first you intended to 'mirror' the sequence of Galadriel's mirror.

Okay...I said that I would make a story about a Picknick but I have changed this. Here is my next story:

The strange King from far:
Frodo and Sam walked together to pick some mushrooms in the fields. Bilbo just learned Sam how to make his delicious Mushroom pie. Sam was very eager to learn and Bilbo helped sam wherever he could.
"Come on Sam, Frodo said while he watched at the sky. The wheater is going to change anytime soon. We must return home before the storm will come down on our heads". Sam nodded his head. "You're right mister frodo, it looks like a nasry storm is going to land on our heads". Frodo replied: "Not if we can at least find a proper place to hide". And Frodo was hardly finished talking when a huge thunder filled the sky. It started with a thunder and then lightning. Frodo looked at the sky. Sam asked: "What is it Mister Frodo? What are you looking at?" Frodo whispered: "This is strange Sam. There is thunder and lightning but no rain". Sam looked at the sky too. "Indeed mister Frodo, you are right. This is weird. Normally the rain will come down too. But maybe the rain is delayed by some clouds?" Frodo started to laugh. "No, no, no Sam! The rain will never be delayed by clouds. Rain doesn't know any delay". Sam blushed. Frodo hitted his shoulder. "Don't worry sam! It's alright". Frodo decided they should try to return home and run between the lightning. The thunder wouldn't be a problem but the lightning would be different.
After a while Frodo grabbed Sam's arm and said: "Now we must try Sam'.
But just when Frodo started to run, Sam stopped. "What is it Sam?" Frodo asked. Sam replied: "I hear the sound of a horse". Frodo turned around. At first he didn't believe Sam but then he heard it too. "I should always listen to my dear Sam, because you are right. This is a horse with a rider on it. But it is a human and we are not allowed to stand in his way. So hide yourself Sam!"Frodo and Sam kneeled down and hided behind a tree and slowly they alked away when suddenly they heard a voice: "What are you two doing here my dear friends? It isn't save here!" It was the rider. While Sam and Frodo were trying to walk away, they forgot the rider and he showed up behind them. The rider looked friendly. He was tall and had a friendly face. Long grey hair and a white beard. He looked like a King. Sam couldn't resist and asked: "Are you a King, Sir?" The man smiled and replied: "If you think I am a King, you may believe so my friend". Frodo asked: "Why is there no rain?" Now the man started to look serious. "This isn't a place the two of you should be. It isn't save here. You are very far away from home and you must go back to where you came from." Sam asked: "Why isn't it save here? And how do you know we are far away from home?" The man looked at the two hobbits. " You are a hobbit my friend and hobbits don't come here. Now if you please go into this direction, you will find our way back home". Sam: "Bu=bu-but how can we get lost??? Mister Frodo and I do know the way very well. How did we come here if you say we are at a place we don't belong? We haven't alked that far!" The man started o get irritated by Sam's reaction. He tried to hide it, but Frodo noticed a change in the eyes of the man.
The man replied: " Don't ask questions my friend. I can't tell you how you get lost but I do know you are. I try to help you to get away from here bfore it's too late." Sam asked again: "But how do you know all this? And in what way aren't we save?" Frodo said: "sam...please...we better should listen to him". Sam looked at frod: "Mister Frodo, we are just trying to catch some mushrooms. We are in the open field near farmer Maggot and suddenly we are in a thunderstorm without rain. This man shows up and tells us it is not save. I just asked him why and how he know it is not save". The voice of the man changed. He wasn't as friendly as he was in the beginning. "Listen hobbit. If you don't want to be warned it is fine with me. I only want to warn you if you stay here much longer, you will never go home again. Don't ask me questions how I know all of this. I can only tell you I do know otherwise I wouldn't have warned you. Now I say you one more time...go back to the direction you came from and you will be home safely." Frodo looked at Sam who wanted to say something but suddenly stopped. Frodo grabbed his arm and said: "Forgive my friend, Sir. He is just a bit disappointed because my uncle would learn him how to bake Mushroom pie. He is never rude but just disappointed. That's all". The man smiled:"It's okay. Now please go." Frodo took Sam by his arm and pulled Sam with him the way the man showed them. Sam asked: "What is it Mister Frodo?"Frodo walked on and looked behind. "This was not a normal man, Sam. You haven't seen his eyes but I did. I looked in his eyes and I saw the hatred. His eyes turned red and if you would have continued, we both would never have come home again". Frodo felt an ugent feeling to run. "Run Sam! Run as fast as you can!" Frodo and Sam started to run while the thunderstorm became furious. They saw a huge wave of clouds coming upon them. "JUMP SAM! JUMP!" Frodo yelled.
They both jumped. the wave picked them up. Frodo could see the silhouet of the man in the air. He laughed very evil and his eyes turned red. Then everything was dark and a few moments later Frodo and Sam saw light again. The sky was blue and they were on the same old road a bit outside the farm of farmer Maggot. They could hear the farmer being busy. Frodo asked if sam was alright. Then Sam saw a wooden arrow laying on the ground. he knew it wasn't there before and he walked up to it. "Look Mister Frodo, this is an old arrow to show you the way to...let me read... (Sam took the dirt off the arrow) the way to Angmar". Frodo and Sam both felt a shiver inside. They didn't know why but they both had a bad feeling while reading the name Angmar. "You know what Sam? Frodo asked. We better go to farmer maggot and buy some of his mushrooms. I don't want to go to the open field anymore."Sam nodded his head. "Exactly my point Mister Frodo, exactly my point". They walked away to Farmer Maggot. Later the afternoon Bilbo proudly learned Sam how to bake Mushroom Pie.

very interesting story, nessa. it was kinda scary:D. poor hobbitses having to meet the witch king while innocently hunting for mushrooms. i love your stories, nessa, and im sure that iv already told you like a million times, i cant wait for more!:D *wants bilbo to teach me how to make mushroom pie as well*:D

I love your stories. They´re brilliant;) The story about Sam and the thunderstorm on his way to Valinor sent chills down my back. And the last one with Frodo and Sam was quite frightening too.

I hope you keep up the good work!:)

Bilbo and the flower

It was on a lazy sunday when Bilbo decided to go out for a walk. It was during the time Samwise was still a tiny baby boy. Old Gaffer who wasn't so old by that time saw Bilbo leaving.
Bilbo! he said. You should not go that far because it's going to rain. Look at the birds. They are trying to find a safe place to hide.
Bilbo laughed. I know my friend. But I must admit I don't mind about the rain. It has been a warm and nice day so far and it won't do a hobbit wrong to go out for a alk and stretch those legs. And rain is not going to make me shrink.
The old Gaffer smiled. He had no reply on this. Bilbo would go anyway. Who was going to stop him?
Bilbo walked and walked and sang old songs. He remembered all the trees from when they were young and some were already living before he was even born. So Bilbo decided to take a good look at one of the trees he so dearly loved. It was an old oak. And it reminded Bilbo at the time he was playing with his friends. Bilbo wasn't much of an adventurer when he was younger but this had changed after Gandalf took him to the Misty Mountains. Well my boy, Bilbo said to the Oak. You have seen more than I have. You have seen people come and go. I wonder what you would tell me if you could talk. I guess we would have been close friends. I like you old buddy! Bilbo softly touched the Oak. Bilbo said: I better hurry up now because it looks like a heavy thunderstorm is coming my way and although I won't like to go back this early it seems like the Gaffer is right. I must make sure I'm home in time. Bilbo turned around and as ready to go back when he suddenly saw a very beautiful white flower. It was the most beautiful flower he had ever seen. It grew at the feet of the Oak. Bilbo: That's impossible! I am certain I have not seen this little one here a couple of minutes ago. Then there was a heavy thunder. The sky colored dark and Bilbo could feel the wind blowing. It became stronger and stronger. Bilbo turned around and saw a strange light around the flower. Suddenly Bilbo felt bad for the flower. This little one is not going to survive such heavy thunderstorm, he said. I must save it! Bilbo returned and when the rain felt down on his head he walked to the oak again. He kneeled down and put his hands around the flower. So little one, Bilbo said. I can't stand to see you die. I must do something to save you even if I have to give my own life for it. You are so small and tiny and I'm older now. Bilbo picked the flower up and putted it in his coat. He quickly ran to a cave. It was a very small one. Bilbo often took shelter there when there was no way he could get home in time. Once in the cave Bilbo felt in his pockets and he took the flower out. The flower was completely wet and it looked like it had died. Bilbo said: Oh no little one! Don't you die! I hate it to see such beauty die. Come on...let me keep you dry. Bilbo softly blew against the flower to make it dry quicker. It looked like the flower cheered up a bit. A couple of minutes later Bilbo saw the storm was fading away a bit and he decided to walk back to the tree again. He carefully carried the flower with him. He kneeled down again at the tree and planted the flower back. So, there you go, he said. You are back home. But then he saw the flower suddenly lost it's beauty. It wasn't as bright anymore and it bended over. Bilbo paniced a bit and said: Oh no little one! Don't you do that! I hate to see you die. Please, don't give up now. You are so strong! But unfortunately the flower didn't survive. Bilbo felt a bit helpless. He was a bit sad as well. Tears came into his eyes. I never saw such a beautiful tiny creature like this before and now it died, he said. And then he heard the sound of the thunder return. Bilbo jumped up and took a small leaf from one of the Oak's branches and placed it on the flower. I still hate it to see you wet even though you are gone now my friend, he whispered. Then he knew he had to go home quickly. Bilbo ran as fast as he could and safely inside his old cozy hobbithole he made himself a nice cup of tea. He checked his books but couldn't find any information about the flower.
The Gaffer came to check on him as he always did. Bilbo talked a while with him and then Bilbo went to bed. The next morning Bilbo stood up and he was making himself breakfast when the Gaffer was knocking at his door. Bilbo, he said. Where did you find that one? Bilbo asked: What or which one?
The Gaffer replied: Your flower or plants. Bilbo looked at the Gaffer and asked: What do you mean? You know my plants very well Master Gamgee. You planted them, remember? The Gaffer replied: Not this one. Bilbo was very curious and followed the Gaffer when he said he would show Bilbo. Bilbo walked through the door and he was amazed. In his garden he found four of the same white flowers he tried to safe the next day. Bilbo laughed and laughed as he walked into his garden. He spreaded his arms white open. Master Gamgee, they are so beautiful, he said. So beautiful. Yesterday I tried to save one for the storm but it didn't survive and now I have four beautiful ones. The Gaffer looked surprised but admitted they were indeed beautiful. Bilbo cherished them for many long years until they died. He never saw such beautiful flower again.
