uploading animated banners to the web

I recently acquired the ability to make animated banners, but I can't figure out how to upload them to the net. For some reason, the timing will be correct after I've saved it, and even in my "preview what you are about to export", but once I actually export it, and upload it into Photobucket, the first few frames fly by, and the normal timing won't start until about the third or fourth frame. Can someone please explain to me how I upload? (Right now I'm using Photoplus)

Ugh, animations can be pretty frustrating at times!:rolleyes::p
Someone else can probably give you the exact explaination of what's wrong (since I know NOTHING about Photoplus), but maybe you can try uploading the animation to www.Imageshack.us

Just a suggestion.:)

Hey, that worked! Thanks!

(haha, wow, I feel stupid now. I've been trying to get this to work for three days, and all I had to do was use ImageShack instead of Photobucket!)

ok,now I need help. I made one. and it won't upload on imageshack. it says bad file type

In the program, first save it wherever normally save your banners, so that you can go back and make changes if you need to. Then when you want to upload it to the net, go to the "file" menu, and go down until you see "export optimizer". Don't worry about any of the things it has on there, just use the BMP (it won't let you use anything else anyway), and click on "export" on the bottom right hand corner. That will bring you to another menu (this menu looks just like the normal way to save it), and just click "save". So what you have basically done is turn it from a .spp (Photoshop's saving thing) into BMP (which can be read by the net).
