Haha....when I first joined here I was obsessed with Lord of the Rings... I still love it,but I'm glad I didn't pick a "ringer" name...
My Monkees obsession has lasted longer than any other obsession of mine..I really don't obsess over a lot,though..I've had only 4 or 5 major fandoms in my life..

I'm still a LOTR fanatic and I will always be. But I also love Hockey. I always did. Since 1991 already but it has increased a lot more the last 8 months or so.

I've never really been one for sports; NASCAR is the only sport I will watch. I watched baseball with a couple of friends of mine and 1. I had no clue as to what was going on and 2. it was BORING! All the teams of Texas (Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers and DAllas Stars) stink. I mean honestly, they do. Of course, it would help if we actually had talent...

anyways, I was thinking about changing my name to PetraKenobi, but I've been Aravis for...well ever since I joined, and I've only changed it twice from aravis to something else, so I think I'll stick with it a while. Except to some people I'm Obi, but eh.

Let's see I was: aravis3, AravisofArchenland, Mrs. obi-Wan Kenobi, tony Stewart's Princess, and now Aravis Kenobi.

Gondorgirl and Crimson have always called me Obi. So the nickname has stuck.
