Virtual walk through Middle-Earth

Don't worry Pip. You know Shelob was the only giant spider in LOTR. There was one in the Silmarillion too. These giant spiders are not in mirkwood, unless Thranduil had decided to take one.............
 
Actually, there were great spiders in Mirkwood - Bilbo and the dwarves encounter them in The Hobbit. Tolkien implies in the narrative about Shelob that they were her children, just as she was the child of Ungoliant. That's the only mention of them, though, so they don't impact the events in Lord of the Rings at all.
 
What are you talking about? Dont' lie to Pip. There are giant spiders in Mirkwood, haven't you read the Hobbit? And Pip, hasen't Bilbo told you that he had to kill tons of them when he went though Mirkwood with the dwarves? But don't worry I know how to handle them, for I am the Princess of Mirkwood! They really are just wimps!!! One slash of a sword or a bite from my dragon and they are dead! so cheer up!
 
i dont think pip would want to go all the way back home... alone... might meet the spiders all alone.. get eaten and all that.... would be kinda unfortunate... this way if we get eaten, at least we wont be alone and all... hehe
 
Yeah really!! HEHEHEHE :D Yeah and if Pip is willing she can ride on my dragon. Far up where the spiders can't eat the juicy little hobbits! :D

pip, look out for the nazgul.... thay have a habit of attacking draghons... specially hobbits on dragons...lol..

OK! LOL :D That's ok you can have them all for all I care! I hate Jelly Beans!!! WHOA a chocolate tree and what do you know it a money tree beside! *runs over and starts stuffing face and filling pockets full of money*

well. i dont know... ive heard all sorts o things aboutj what happens when hobbits try to ride dragons to get away from spiders.... usually they ended in the hobbit wishing he were with the spiders... lol... anyway;.. really, spiders arnt that bad at all... bugs on the other hand!!!! UGGGG... i mnea, everyone has one fear in life, right? hiegts, whatere?... mine is bugs...

Alright, where are we? Oh yes, we are eating Jelly beans and now we are up on the way to Mirkwood. Look, there is Haldir, looking for us when we are coming. Haldir??????? Since when did he move to Mirkwood??????
