I think the more I listen to modern music, the more my appreciation for all the older bands grows.

I agree! It really makes you appreciate how much more 'raw' and underproduced the music was then.


ME TOO! I love the 'epic' feel to the music...it actually makes me think of classic American Rock with a modern twist to it.

Haha, exactly! I think raw sums it up perfectly. Plus, it doesn't help that my favorite bands may not have existed without some of them. :p

Yesss! That's pretty much how I see House of Heroes' overall sound--kind of borrowing the best of almost every style of music and blending it together into a flawless combination of past and present. :D The result really is epic (in the original sense of the term... I'm thinking of Lewis right now :p). Ah, HoH is so talented.

Can't Buy Me Love - House of Heroes (I love their Beatles covers... so does my mom. :p)

Yes! So many bands today were heavily influenced by the older rock...you can even kinda hear it in some of the band's music today.


Exactly! They really are genius! Did I tell you I met the lead singer when they were opening for TobyMac & Brandon Heath? I have his autograph (In your face! J/K!!!!! :p). Ha! Lewis would be so proud! :p
