What 'cha doin'? What 'cha writin'?

the (i think) fourth chapter of my short story Natalie's Quest. I've lost track what chapter I'm on.

it's about princess natalie who had FINALLY found the prince she wants to marry. But in his kingdom they have a tradition that the prince must go into the forest surrounding his kingdom and bring back two enchanted rings for the wedding. if he's not back in 10 days the wedding is off.
Well, the second day after Prince Jacob's departure word reaches natalie that he's been killed. Natalie, after going through a brief moment of hystarics, decides that her Jacob is not dead and it up to her to find him before the 10 days are up.
During this quest she stumbles upon a plan set up by a group of sorcerers that involves kidnapping the prince and taking over the kingdom.

Well, I'm still writing Wormwood, a story you can find here on the forum, and it's about a girl that meets someone she falls in love with and she thinks she knows him. Well, that's what she thinks, because that boy will be kinder and more dangerous and mysterious than any other.
Haha, I hope u can all read it.
Love and Hugs
Oh, and I loved Miss.SunFlower's story. Wanna read it!! :D

I'm currently writing three books right now. It's getting a little crazy. One is a fantasy where a girl goes to another world. Another is fantasy(again) where a girl loses her rule of a province to her cousin (who happens to be evil) and has to get it back. The last one(which is the that's the longest) is a fantasy (yes again, but this one's different) about superheros and vampires.

This is a good thread. It'll get us interested in each other's work. :)

Currently, I'm writing several stories, but my focus is on two...

"Aelia" is about a girl named Juliana who finds this old mirror at her great-grandmother's house, which has some significance later in the story but anyway... she gets into this other universe, to this place called Aelia, which isn't really a country or a world, it's just a place... or a tangible state of mind, if you will.... and I haven't gotten that far but I have plans for it. :p

"Acceptance" is about a girl named Katie whose family is moving from North Carolina to Pennsylvania. Katie is very stubborn about moving, and when she arrives at her new school and this guy starts being friendly to her, she acts grumpy. :p So eventually the two become friends, and more dramatic things happen to twist the plot.... I dunno yet.

I just wrote, and sent out to my subscribership, an article examining the claim of novelist Anne Rice to have become a Christian. I can't post that article here, because I was compelled to comment on something which is not to be discussed on this forum. Anne Rice, in Time Magazine, declared in no uncertain terms that she does not ONLY accept, but STRONGLY approves and admires, a form of human conduct which is not to be discussed on this forum.

Snowflower, yours sounds very interesting. I admire you for attempting a historical fiction; those sound really hard to do!

I started a few stories recently... Haven't got around to finishing them yet, though (I'd rather be working on concertos, wouldn't you? :D)

Anyway one of them is called Lily of the Field and you can find it here on the forum. It's a fantasy about a girl who has been hidden for most of her life because of her strange appearance... And then she meets a little boy, and well, just read it. Yes, I am going to finish it!!! It's just going really slowly right now.

The second one I started a while ago, and I've considered picking it up again, and it's about three children who live on the earth, in modern times, except their father is a part of a secret interplanetary organization which is largely unknown to the people on Earth (because naturally, we claim we haven't "discovered" life on other planets). Because of circumstances which I have yet to concoct, they are forced to move to another planet with their mother, who is part of the royal family there. It's still in the very dim outline stage, so I don't know.

The third one, which is something along the same lines of the second, is about a couple of orphans who discover a long-lost connection between our planet and another.

Y'all tell me if you would be interested in reading any of those last two...although, considering how far I've gotten with the first, maybe I ought to stick with that for now.

I'm working on a lot right now. =/

A short story about some druggies. Inspired by the druggies in my art class.
A fantasy, which I'm not supposed to talk about or show to anyone until Levi, Tess and I decide to share our stories with everyone and have everyone vote for the best one.
A random story about some crazy girls who do some crazy things and in the end one of them dies.

i am writing a horror movie script:
about this girl and how her "perfect" boyfriend and her "best friend" end up murdering her. (its also a story here on the board, but my beta reader has disapeared its called Epitaph)

I'm writting a book called "Trethgale"..it's the first book in a series I plan on writting. The series will be called "Griffon Tamers"

It starts out with an 18 year old boy named, Trethgale or Treth (easier to say.:p) and his friend, Hornroth. They meet this elf girl and for the first time in his life Treth uses his full name Trethgale. The elf girl talks with them in private and they discover Treth is to be the next Griffon Tamer. His true father who had died years past was the first Griffon tamer. Treth never knew he had another father besides the one who was taking care of him now. His mother had died 18 years ago when he was born and she couldn't tell him.
Treth has no choice but to leave his home. Hornroth being a good friend goes with him. The evil King and Queen seek to kill him.

I've started (yet again) to put things on paper about a story that's been haunting my mind for about 6 years now. I've started before, but always got stuck because i had so many ideas about the plot, i couldn't choose. So now i've started actually writing down what is is i want to do, and how i want to do it. And after that i'll make a brief plot of the story. When i've worked that out i'll start writing, but i'll let you know when i actually know for sure how things will be. ;)

I started part three of my star wars meets the Jedi trilogy it picks up after Harry and Kara leave Voyager and follows them why they are starting there Jedi Academy and dealing with stuff on there own without anyone else.

Its a really hard one to write cause its kinda them growing up together without being use to have Luke or Mara or Obi wan and Petra there to help them. Its slower moving then my other ones.

So don't expect to active updates its on this thread
