What 'cha doin'? What 'cha writin'?

I'm almost finished with Natalie's Quest (which I talked about on the last page)
I am now starting the next book in the short story trilogy. Clairissa's Revenge.

this one takes place about 17 years after Natalie's Quest. It's about Natalie's daughters Cassandra and Clairissa. Cassandra (age 20) has a prophesy stating that she will save the kingdom from the same sorcerers that threatened the kingdom in Natalie's time. Cassandra, now being thought of as her kingdoms savior, is treated with highest respect.
This make younger Clairissa (age 17) very bitter towards her elder sister. Angry and upset with her unfair treatment, Callie (as she often goes by) accidently tell a disguised sorcerer of her sisters prophesy to destroy them. The next morning Callie wakes up to the horror that her sister has been murdered by the sorcerers. Believing it was her fault her sister was killed, Callie sets out to get revenge on the group that murdered her.

I'm working on writing the sequel to my book The Tale of Mozart the Meerkitten.

This book I'm working on now is currently called The Fire Kitten but the title may change later. It's about a kitten named Fireheart who stumbles upon adventure when she is kidnapped by Claw the warlord cat. She and her siblings, as well as a kitten called Hope must try to escape Claw and kill him if they can. And of course the LFF Catlition, (headed by Mozart) go after their little friends (Fire and her siblings are kin of FSS) and family. Also joining are Braveheart, Shaggy, Silverpaw and Shady. Brave, Shaggy and Silver are Hope's siblings, and are forever trying to get their sister back. Shady is a young tom-cat Claw took in as a spy.
You see why I chose this as a sequel topic.:D

I think you put "sluglines" at the beginning of each scene, like this:

EXT. YARD - DAY

EXT. is "exterior". INT. would be "interior".
I think screenplays are supposed to be in Courier New, 12 point.

I don't really know that much about screenplays, but my sister took a short class on how to format them, so when I [TRY to] write them I use the above format.

I am currently working on a couple of ideas. The first one is a Fantasy with an entirely recreated form of magic and lots of adventure and a little bit of mystery. It's kind of angsty. I have another one that is a Sci-Fi story that is about a boy with a ship and a gun and a chip on his shoulder, working as a mercenary. It shows his journey from an innocent boyhood to a jaded young man with no hope, to a man who has seen what life has to offer and has decided to continue living with the hope of making things better for those who he can. It is supposed to be rather sad and exciting. I'm at a bit of writers block on the second one. The first one, I know what I want to do with it, but I haven't been able to muster up the gumption to try any more of it.

I'm working on two stories right now. One is referred to as The Yellow Notebook because that's what it's written in. My sister and I are typing it as a screenplay.

The other one is a fantasy story about Randallyn, a princess of a country called Amaris, who is forced to find three scepters which are hidden throughout the world.

I'm working on a lot of things, but my current favourite is called "Paul is Dead"

It's a story about a poor boy, living in Liverpool, England, who was named after Paul McCartney. It's a story about his phyical and emotional death, (through loss of friends, family, faith, innocence, and evenutally his life) from the time he starts primary school seven, until he escapes from his boarding school as a teenager and his sudden death.

It's told in first person, as the dead boy recounts his history to a passerby.

I'm writing stories and also recording a few stories in audio for Revolution Radio.

Ooooh. AWESOME thread. I'm currently working on a SF novel about Aria, this teenager from a world where everyone has wings, people can communicate telepathically through crystals, and large energy masses called passes surround the planets. Aria accidentally gets sucked through the most dangerous pass and finds herself stuck without her crystal in a world where everything is backwards from what she knows. Eventually we realize this world is earth. With the government after her, Aria has to try and find her twin brother who fell through years ago, and solve the mystery of the pass, so she can get them both home.

I was posting it here on NF but stopped. I'm still writing it, so if any of you are interested, let me know and I can give you the link/password to my writing blog :)

I'm writing another CT songfic (There are CT fanfics - which are with the guys and a made-up together, then CT songfics - which may or may not even include one of the actual guys and follows a story line set up in one or more songs. Songfic example would be two I've written to the song Midnight Well)
And anyways I'm writing another to the plot line of five, sort of connected, songs; Outside Looking In, Stand and Deliver, The Highwayman, Midnight Well, and Shadows Dancing

Just thought it would be interesting to read/discuss...Don't worry, I'm not a plagiarist or anything!:)

Once I finish the essay I'm supposed to be writing I intend to try to finish my DW/HP FF and then start more seriously on my original story. I've been having fun with character sketches with that one and I'm hoping to make more progress on it than I have before.
