The new version of "The Prisoner," whose ONLY superiority to the original TV series is in having a larger budget. Actor Ian McKellen, in publicizing this production, followed the Screwtapian model of "crowding to that side of the boat which is already nearly gunwale under." In an era when movies which depict private enterprise as evil are a dime a trillion, McKellen claimed that the new TV series is being _innovative_ by showing the cause of the hero's captivity being, what a surprise, _another_ evil business corporation.
