Movie: Star Trek
Starring: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Eric Bana etc.
Rating: 9 out of 10.

Ugh, that movie opens up a can of worms for me. I can't stand it. But Karl Urban is the brightest spot in the movie :D....I thought he was the best of all of them (though it didn't take much). But I didn't really care for ERic Bana in it; I thought he needed to be more villain-like; I thought his character was much too soft and much too ridiculous to be taken seriously. I do love Eric Bana though, so if I don't like his character something's wrong. ;)

Hawaii Five-O, the 2nd new episode....I have to say I really liked it, and I think I've found something to watch on Monday nights.

Hawaii Five-O, the pilot episode. I'm beginning to really, really like it...except I could have done without the 5 SOB expletives in one episode.

A very old fantasy movie called "The Viking Women and the Sea Serpent." It was really, really DUMB--not because it was a fantasy, but because characters did not DO things that ANYONE in their situation should have thought of doing. In particular, near the end, the Vikings had captured the KING of their enemies--thanks to which, they COULD have held him hostage to demand everything they needed to get out of the enemy realm and return home. But instead, they LET THE ENEMY KING GO, and headed off on foot without even having obtained weapons or horses for themselves, just begging the embarrassed enemy king to pursue them with horsemen!

New York Islanders vs Philadelphia Flyers (♥) preseason game. Flyers won 1-3 but the Islanders were with a prospect roster because their full roster went to Calgary to play the Flames.

Movie: The Mission
Starring: Robert Dinro and Jeremy Irons
Rating: 10 out of 10!
Review:
A powerfully moving film that will leave tears steaming down thy eyes and your heart warmed by the Devine message that lies behind the tragic story.

Movie: The Guardians of Ga'Hoole
Starring: Helen Mirran, Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving and Sam Niel
Rating: 9 out of 10
Review:
A Stupendious animated film! Rivaling that of Pixar's work! At last a film for all ages centered around wholesome conflict between good and evil. Remniscant of The Lord of the Rings, this film is fun for entire family. I only advise young tikes of the ages of two to six not see this film. The images may be to disturbing and overwhelming. The violence also may not be suitable for younger audiances.

In conlusion the Guardians of Ga'Hoole is a story with heart, one that inspires us to protect the weak, mend the hurt, and vanquish evil. :)
