Only okay? I've heard that it was phenomenal, with excellent cinemetography/animation and good voice talent. I'm looking forward to renting the movie when it comes out on DVD. Why is it only 'okay'?

There are 2 bright spots...Chris Lee and Ewan McGregor. They must be the 2 points.
Nah, I agree; aside from the effects,the battles, and those two, the movie isn't worth watching. I watched some of it yesterday, but quickly lost interest.I don't remember what I last watched.

The martial arts are stellar. And I love the culture in this (here we go again!). Not only that, but the acting is terrific. And it's so...oh I can't describe it. The director, Zhang Yimou, did an amazing job.

Currently watching White Christmas, and eagerly awaiting A Christmas Carol's release next week on dvd. I pre-ordered it, so hopefully it'll ship on Monday instead of Tuesday.
