What was the last thing you watched?

I just got done watching an episode of Little House On The Prairie from season 9. The episode I watched is called Marvin's Garden. Season 9 isn't my particular favorite season, but there are a few episodes that I like and that is one of them.

Film: Hamlet
Rating: 10 out of 10
Starring: Mel Gibson and Glen Close
Review:
I have seen another adaption of Hamlet, it was brillant in all its black and white splendor. This rendition is quite brillant! Mel Gibson is a convicning Hamlet, his madness and lust for revenge believeable. Glen Close is a fantastic Queen and mother of Hamlet. :)

I love that movie even with the terrfying and sad stuff, because there is a lot of magical stuff in it it also. It is a fantastic movie of magical-realism.

The last movie I watched was a Native American movie called Smoke Signals.

I sort of wanted to see that because of Adam Beach ( ♥ ), but I read the story, and I didn't like the language. Doesn't it have quite a few f words in it? I read the story over a year ago....and the story was kind of strange by itself, I thought. Actually, a lot of the stories I read in English 1302 were strange. :p

Uh, I think the last thing I watched was part of The Best of Mark Lowry and Bill Gaither: Volume One.

"What is 'sacking the quarterback?'"

"Paper or plastic?"

:D

Tangled. And for those of you who got on my case last time, THIS time I got it from Netflix and watched it with my parents.
Its still funny though.:p

"Her hair glows! Why does her hair glow?!?" xD

Nice! I'm glad that you liked it!

How many stars would you give it on a scale of five?

4 1/2 :D

It'd be five, but five is a number of stars reserved for only my most favoritest of movies. It is seriously close though! I actually liked the romance at the end!:p

Though Tangled has made it into 4th place on my animated movies list:

1. Aristocats
2. Robin Hood
3. How to Train your Dragon
4. Tangled

:D

Haha, nice! ^.^ I usually don't like movie romances, or at least try not to, but I couldn't help it with this one. :D

I think that this would be my list of favorite animated movies:

1. Up
2. Tangled
3. How to Train Your Dragon
4. The Incredibles
5. Bolt

(Of course, I'm probably forgetting one...)

^I still haven't seen Bolt. I think it's on instant play on Netflix though....right now though I probably wouldn't like it. I should have seen it when it came out. :p

It's a kind of weird movie. I adore it, but I wouldn't criticize anyone else for not liking it. With movies like that, it's all a matter of taste. :)

It was a discreet romance- I think- so I could handle it.:p They kissed, what, once? They ALMOST did on the boat with the laterns and I was whispering to myself, "Don't kiss, don't kiss, don't kiss..." but it was interupted so it was all good.:p

Oh and of course I HAVE to like it- Flynn and Rapunzel are the 2nd set of animated characters to ever get into my imagination successfully since I was like ten. The first pair was Hiccup and Toothless.:D

Yeah. And it's not that I don't like the idea of romance, I just don't need to be thinking about it at this age because I'll think lots of stupid things. xD And CHEESY romance is AWFUL! But, obviously, this wasn't like that.

Really? So was I. And fernshirehobbit. :p We had a discussion about that.

Yes, I know how that feels. :) They've really gotten into my imagination too!

I'm of the same opinon. The only boy I've ever liked lives in a book.:p

Funny! Great minds think alike!:D

Yes, so now, in my imagination, I have a bunch of humans running around CATland.:p

Oh snip I think we're spamming the thread. xD If we ever get the Thegirls group back MissR I'm asking if you can join.:D

I want to read the stories, and some of the stories in my lit courses are weird, too.
