I've been meaning to see Secretaria. My mother actual saw the horse win all three or four of the those awards in person.

It's a really good movie. Of course we all know the ending, but still. My parents really liked it because they too saw Secretariat win the Triple Crown. *Not that my parents like horse racing, mind you. But that was a big deal back then!* And Diane Lane was awesome in the movie as Penny Chenery.
