What will slow VDT down?

They are the same ones this time around ....and for VDT too...but Andew isn't working on the VDT script. Marcus and McFeely aren't my favorite, but oh well.

In spite of the same scriptwriters, we have a new director for VDT and he was raised on the Narnia books and knows them well. I am hoping that with his vision of what VDT should be will be very close to the book and he will limit any carrying away with the story that others may want. This is a very important pivotal movie for the Narnia series. In it Aslan appears in so many different ways and it must be done right and with a strong spiritual message in it. The book had so much of that in it and it needs to be transferred over correctly onto the big screen.

I know that they're interested in not only making a film of the book, but a film that people who are not familiar with the book would want to see. The deeper they get into the Chronicles, the more difficult that will be. I worry at times about the want companies have to be politically correct. They will probably tweak some things to make the film more exciting in their eyes I'm sure...but it will be a fine line to tread overall. I hope that it will be done well. I'm sure it will take a lot of time to get that script perfected.
