I honestly dont think it was made for kids these days, it was meant for the kids who grew up with the book...
Most children these days dont even know the story.
Heck, Even i have friends, who are also 18, and they dont know what Where The Wild Things Are...which I think is ridiculous..everyone should be exposed to this story

But it's still really, really good.
