So do I! :( Espescially when I think of Susan back in our world, without a family .... That is just SO sad!!! (I wanted to put a little bawling smiley face here, but I coldn't find one!)

Wow, Fishy, I'm impressed that any nonLOTR-fan would recognize the Lay of Luthien. Even those who claim to be fans <_< just because they've watched the movies a gajillion times probably wouldn't know it. Have you read the books, or did someone else tell you about it?
That's one of my favorite poems in FOTR... but that's a different subject entirely. Sorry :D

Well, I didn't remember it was called the Lay of Luthien. But I did remember it was from that poem about the ancient elvin queen who gave up immortality for her love that I came across that time I tried to read FOTR. (Got halfway through, too! :) ) I promise, I'll read at least the rest of FOTR over the summer. Or may my grandmother be fed to the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Trall. ;)

Agh, I hope you asked your grandmother (if you have one ;) ) before you went and promised that!

 Wow! I'll read it to you myself to save your grandmother's life!
But anyway, yeah, by all means, do read FOTR, and the other two, because as good as the movies are, you can't beat the books. ;)

I've heard some people say that they think the books are boring, but that is only if you lack true appreciation for well written literature. I could never say they are boring. They intrigue me every time, and I've read them seven times. :D

I dont know why but ive always liked the magicians nephew, probably because its the first one i ever read.

Welcome, Narnian Warrior! Cool avatar. Yeah, MN definately had it's good points. my favourite part is when Aslan sings Narnia into exsistence. :D

I am partial to The Last Battle... so thats my number one favorite.
Followed by Dawn Treader
Then LWW
Then Silver Chair
Then Prince Caspian
Then Horse and His Boy
Then Magicians Nephew

But, I truly love them all. Best books (besides the Bible) ever written.

That's what I thought, that's why I asked. :D I love Princess Bride, and I recognized the pic, but from the distance I wasn't entirely sure, so I asked. ;)

Welcome!!From Luni.....
Welcome to our, um, site. We are not all strange, but you may find that many of us are, to a certain degree. Lol, just trying to scare you is all. ;)

Thanks for the welcome all... and don't worry about being strange. I've got some strange blood in me. I think it heritary... I got it from my siblings. B)

Ah yes, strange blood is becoming a bit common. Maybe it shouldn't be called strange anymore. ;) Watch out world, we strange-people are now becoming the majority.

Loosers indeed! If "strange" means "different" then whoever is not strange is not different and whoever is not different is not individual and must have been made in a factory! This is a weird rabbit trail!
