which movie did you like more? the first series that was made or the new one?
i think the first series was made to cheaply and i personly prefer the new one way more!lucy

Although the older one stuck more closely to the original story, I also prefer the new film much more.

They are both so great!
But, voted for the new one. Just because of improved graphics (though the ones in the old one were fairly new then).
 
From what I've seen, the old one is really really really bad. Awful cinematography, bad acting, no movie feel, you can see that that was shot with small budget, and there are people who dress into animals! Yuck...
 
I haven't seen the old BBC series, and I hope to, but I honestly don't think I would enjoy the BBC LWW as much as Adamson's great movie.

You probably won't, but at the same time the three films were done fairly well with the low budget that they had. They do keep much closer to the books than Adamson's film, but I still like the new one much better. The new one made you really like the Pevensies and you could relate to them. And, needless to say, the special effects were just fabulous.

I am guessing that the animated LWW is what is being referred to here making a total of three different versions that were adapted from the book.

Exactly!!! The old series...to put it midly is...awful!
 
I hate how everyone puts down the BBC series. It was made a long time ago, they didnt have as much technology.

Its Narnia. and as a true Narnian Fan, I will not look these movies down.

I hate it when ppl critize these BBC movies. :mad:
 
While the BBC Series is one that I will remember forever, definitely the new one (series) that is being made is the better one, NM is right in most aspects the BBC series followed the books better, but they did not ever finish it and their was poor acting and in some cases the new one comes closer to the book, like with the Age diffference between the Pevensies.
