who hates spongebob?

SPONGEBOB FOR PRESIDENT!!!

He'll make everyone in Washington wear square pants. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I'm moving to DC!!!!!

For the first time I am so glad that I live in England. :p
Ooh, I never knew that! Awesome! :D

I hate Spongebob with a vehment passion. While my parents were shopping for a car, my sister, little brother, and I were in the kid's area. There were very few toys that interested us; most were broken video games. So we watched the Spongebob show that was on. I think I was ten times stupider leaving the place just for watching it.

LOL Agreed! I think I've only ever seen a couple of episodes. And that is why I am now dumber than a doorknob.

I hate to think that this is what most of my generation grew up watching. I was always a Disney fan. :p

You didn't know that I lived in England?! I thought that pretty much everyone knew that I was British?

Some of what I've seen of SpongeBob definitely grossed me out, and I'm not overly sensitive to gross-outs.

If you watch some of the newer episodes, yes, they aren't even funny anymore, but the old episodes had really some of the most clever humor you could find. It was humor that appealed to very young kids who didn't actually get the point, and to older people who understood the subtle-but-not-quite actual point behind every humorous exchange.

I think Spongebob did not appeal to young teens who were in transition between child and adulthood. Something between ages 12-17. Other than that, it's hilarious.

Kill the sponge!

Well, I hate Spongebob, but for different reasons.

My favorite Nick shows are:
Danny Phantom
Danny and Dani Phantom
My Life as a Teenage Robot
Jenny Wakeman
The Secret Life of Alex Mack

All of Nick's promotional effort and funding goes to SB and these far more worthy franchises are overlooked.

I wouldn't mind so much if they got equal billing, but to be pushed completely aside is making me angry.

It's actually gotten to the point where Danny and Jenny are SB's sidekicks at best.
Nick did some crossover games for the Playstation2 and it's all about SB saving the world.

Which is kinda strange, since Danny and Jenny are in a league so far above him.
For context, Danny has ghostpowers that enable him to fight the most powerful of supernatural enemies and Jenny can take on armies single handed, being a one girl arsenal of weapons and superpowers.

And yet, they're reduced to being sidekicks to someone who has no superpowers of his own.

Alex Mack has had even less attention, I think there was a season 1 dvd set in America, that's as far as it goes.

In my opinion, these are the best shows Nick ever made.
They're funny, have well thought out plots and are serious shows in their own way.

Admittedly, I've never seen SB, but it seems to me a juvenile show based on childish toilet humor.

And for that, they bumped their best stuff to a dark and distant corner.
Which is why I'm mad at SB and actively disapprove of him.
