Who should be the funny character?

Er- sorry, but who's Pattertwig?

He's the annoying squirl that trumpkin and Company sent to spread the word that Prince Caspian has arrived and that everyone should meet at the Dancing Lawn at midnight.

I think that is what happened. Its been a while since I last read the book

Pattertwig may be a squirrel (and a few squirrels are quite funny ) I don't think he has a big enough part to be the funny character.

He'd have to sound like one of those high-pitched Chipmunk voices or something, because he was supposed to talk a lot, and real fast.

I think they should keep the characters true to the way that they were in the book.

When they blew the trumpet they didn't know if the help would arrive at LanternWaste (where the pevensies first appeared in Narnia) or if they would arrive at Cair Peravel(sp? The castle of the Pevensies) or they may arrive at the Stone Table, all were ancient and considered magical or something like that. So they sent Trumpkin to Cair Peravel to meet them if they should come there, and Pattertwig was sent to LanternWaste to meet them if they should arrive there, the rest of the ARMY was already camped at the Stone Table so they didn't need a scout to go there.

Sometimes movie makers mess with characters' personalities...and one of them is usually characterized with a funny personality just for comic relief. I think the purpose of this thread was simply to give an opinion about who should be the character with a humorous personality.

I think that the Bulgy Bears could be rather funny as well as some of the other animals that come out of hiding and join the army. In the battle scenes they could provide comic relief while they try to keep their paws out of their mouths. Just a thought.
