I voted for Aslan because He was placed on the ballot; but it hardly seems fair to make others compete with Him. It's like saying, "Whom do you like better, your neighbor's friend's nephew, or the Almighty God Who created the universe and gave life to all creatures?"

I would have to agree with this. I also voted for Aslan, but other than him I would vote for Lucy.

Lucy is my favorite character, because she is always the one to believe in Narnia, and trust in Aslan more than the others. Aslan would be second for me. I love how they made Lucy emotional over having to leave Narnia at the end of the VOTD movie. I enjoyed the movie so much, and even though I love all of the books VOTD is my favorite!

when the first movie out, I love Susan so much..but then my mind changed to Peter.

I adore Peter so much, for what he have done to protect all his siblings from danger, helping his mother to support his three siblings through the ordeal of their father going away, and the way he try his best to be the great king for Narnia. He loves Narnia so much, even when he is 22 years old and being a university student, his heart is still in Narnia though he had not been there..

Lucy!!

Lucy is my favorite character because she's a good example of faithfulness. She's also brave and I'm also the youngest of my family so I can easily relate to her. I also Caspian because he's a good leader, but Lucy is my favorite./

Yes, I agree, she's the one who brings the story out of the unknown world.:)

Peter

I've always like Peter from when my mom read them to me before I could read. I think the actor they found to play him in the new movies is a good pick!

Of original-to-the book characters who are not Deity, I also strongly favor Peter. There is so much male-bashing in Western society--at the very time when we frankly need MEN to do the bulk of the fighting against global terror and tyranny. The plotline of Peter ascending to heroic young manhood is a valuable illustration of unabashed male valor and virtue, made available at a time when we sorely need it.

I enjoyed Oreius, too. He was like the smart veteran sergeant in old war movies: heroic in his own right, AND helping the star of the movie to look good. Also, his solemn presence when the Pevensies first entered Aslan's camp was a good buildup to their meeting Aslan Himself.

I say the same.

i completely agree with Copperfox as well. I think that Lucy is the best character, because she had so much belief and faith inside of her that she didn't let her first journey to narnia let it be her last. she also is full of compassion and innocence to the creatures of Narnia. I think that, like peter did, she will remember Narnia forever even when she grows too old to visit it.:):)
