haha, she already has, the books already made like $20 million in pre-order sales :eek: I was talking to a girl I work with who's obsessed like me, and she said "I ordered three copies, it's guaranteed to be ordered the day it comes out, or else they're free, why don't you just do that?"

okay, three copies is... a bit much lol but I don't want to break the tradition of getting my book at midnight like I've done for the past 4 books :D besides, if I waited the next day, they'd all be sold out, like they were for the last book.

yeah, the fourth book was out when I was in third grade :) the first one came out when I was 6... after the first three, she took a huge break, and hasn't been writing as fast since, which is understandable, because the first three aren't really as deep or important to the plot as the last four are.
 
I know! how lucky was she that her book is so popular... funny that she couldn't get it published for 6 years...

not many people know, but the whole series is based in the early 90s... the first book was in 1991, and Harry was born in 1980...

funny that I rarely ever think or talk about him anymore... I think some of the mystery was just lost when we actually met him... maybe it'll change once Prince Caspian comes out..
 
Haha Steph you remind me of my friend who is also very obsessive :p She's going at midnight too to get the book like the other thousands that will be there lol. I dont undertsnad why people cant just wait until the next day or morning.

I suppose its a mixture of desperately wanting to know what happens and desperately wanting to be one of the first to get it... even though I'm not obsessed enough to get there 10 hours early just to be first in line lol

of course, I'm really sad about this one coming out, because this is the last one.

Maybe its just because its been a while since the original obsession... we'll see when Prince Caspian comes out I guess... I mean we'll be busy kidnapping during hte premeir but still, lol.

brr *is cold* why am I cold, its like 90 degrees outside!? hey, have you ever noticed how inconvenient it is that there is no degrees symbol on the keyboard? what's with that! especially when I'm typing up lab reports for biology, so annoying!

I feel like going shopping, but the hassle of getting ready and then of asking permission to go is just too much. LOL I have to try to wake my dad up, ask him, call my mom and ask her, and then wake up Jim and tell him too.
