Yes, there IS ether! It's what photons are mad out of! :p

(actually, since photons are basically 'packages' of light waves, they must be made out of some medium that light can propagate in. And I've decided to call that medium 'ether':p)

Now look, Derny. According to MY high-school science book (which may, I admit, be out of date), light is formed of little 'packages' of light waves. These packages are photons. A wave is a series of compressions and decompressions in a medium, like sound in air. So, the photons must be made out of a medium which the light compresses and decompresses. And I've decided to call that medium 'ether'. :p

Happily immersed in poetry and music. Although come to think about it, I can do that anytime I like, being as how I own that land... Still, Physics hovers on the borderes even there. The border troops are hardpressed to fight it back, and every so often it overruns and stains out lovely land with...FORMULAS:eek:
