I LOVE STAR WARS, don't get me wrong. I'm jsut interesting in which movie ya'll think was the worst. Personally, I would say ATTACKS OF THE CLONES all the way.
I rather like ALL of the other movies, the only thing I really like about ATOC is Padme's purty dresses and the music, tehehe.
What about you?
I totally agree with you. Attack of the Clones stilted, not remotely moving, romantic story alone assure's it's victory. And the sad, cliched, dialouge that the superb Christopher Lee had to work with gives it even more of an advantage over the rather dumb "Phantom Menace" (Sorry QA48, Jar-Jar WAS that bad, in my opinion). I mean Lucas has this legendary, let me say it again, LEGENDARY!!! great actor on his movie in Christopher Lee, and what does he do, he gives him almost exactly the same character he did in Lord of the Rings, except Saruman was like 100% more interesting and scary.
Seriously, whenever he looks down at all the jedi in the arena, surrounded by his thousands of orc....I mean "battle droids", (Fruedian slip there..) my sister and I always expect him to say :"A new power is rising!"
Yeah, sad, sad script work there Lucas. And add to it that no matter how much Padme and Anakin liked each other, there was NO WAY I was ever gonna root for them to get together after he slaughtered the Tusken village. And how annoying, pushy, lustful, selfish, and controlling he was with her before he slaughtered the Tuskens already put me far from wishing that they would ever get together. In fact, it made me consider how much better a match she and Obi-Wan would make. The only likeable parts of that movie in my opinion are as follows:
1. Yoda whuppin Count Dooku.
2. R2 saves the day again. (But that hardly counts since it's in every movie. R2 rocks my galaxy.)
3. The sad part where Anakin's mother dies (And may I add that this scene is the only part of Attack of the Clones where Hayden Christensen shows any kind of acting ability?)
4. The cool blue things that explode silently in space and chase Obi-Wan
The other stuff I hate about the movie I could go on for days about. Like Mace Windu's stupid "This party's over" line, (The man must have some incredible acting talent to say that with a straight face, either that or it was digitized, like everything else in the movies...) Yoda going from being a puppet to digital, meaning Not-alive-anymore Yoda, The NAME of the movie.... (Someone needs to reign in Lucas occassionally) I think I'll stop my rant here before I really offend someone. Sorry if any of this does offend you. It's only my opinion, and some jokes. I really love Star Wars, but definitely NOT this movie.
