Narni is my town in Italy for this I study more about the name of my town.

And the word NAHAR meaning "river" in the Holy Scripture, and NAHARNA - "the river land". So Narnia are the river land


In J.R.R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Nahar was the horse of Oromë.

but Nahar are a very old word and there are many connection ............
 
Narnia name can be related with Nahar " the river"

Narni in Italy is my town and Narnia are the old roman name , we have the river Nera and Nahar are the old word for river.
Naharki are te old name of the peoples in this region , named also Nahartes

There are many old name also in the Holy Scripture, and NAHARNA - "the river land".
Did you know that NERIS is one of the two largest rivers of Lithuania? Could there also be some connection with NAHAR, and with the river NERA of Narni? It is one of the ancient Indoeuropean water names related to Lithuanian word NARUS - "deep" and NERTI - "to dive, to swim under water". I do not know much about etymology but here is a little passage about NERIS

HAHA!! That's great..ASLAN buffet...we see Narnia in everything. But I don't think Aslan had in mind chow mein and egg rolls at his buffet ;)


In this book NARNIA, BEYOND THE WARDROBE, Douglas Gresham, CS Lewis' stepson, mentioned the Narni town, but he said Lewis 'may or may not have' used it for the Chronicles. The most prominent location that inspired Lewis' creation of his Narnia was the British Isles, specifically where he was from in Northern Ireland.

from 299 Before Christ and are so named for many time
for exemple till the 1500 A.D. are so named you can find the
big Statue of Donatello at Padua city that have this words:

We like many Cs Lewis work and we hope to see all the 7 books in new Films.

We try also to create in Italy more fans for Narnia .

An other good news are that Sergio Castellitto ( king Miraz) for some time live at Narni in Italy , so we have one more link with Narnia .
