Your Current Mood V

My mom...........she turned on all burners of her stove so all gas escaped in her house and her electric over was turned on the highest heat without nothing in it at all. My mom smokes a huge lot and if she had smoked a sigarette her house could have exploded

How scarey, Vanessa! *sees God's hand and grace*

Thank you God for keeping Vanessa's mom safe today!!!:p

@Abby: We are like the grass the withers and dies. We are like the flowers that fade away. These troubles are temporary. The God who made us (we are as tiny as grains of sand to Him) cares enough about us, loves us so much, that we can take anything to Him. He is always listening, He knows exactly what you are going through and struggling with, and He cares enough to say, "give ME your pain and your struggles; let ME take care of it."

This is where the rubber of out faith hits the road of everyday life. Jesus got angry, too.

Sorry you're angry. Feel it fully so you can get through it better!

*sighs* I guess... but it's just really hard for me...

I know, Abby, I know. *hugs* It IS hard. I had to struggle with actually letting go myself. It's all in trust. There are times when you have to step out and say, "God, this might hurt, but I'm going to step out anyways. I know I can trust you to keep me from falling."

From Ps. 91

God will rescue you from the fowler's snare, from the destroying plague,
4
Will shelter you with pinions, spread wings that you may take refuge; God's faithfulness is a protecting shield.
5
You shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day,
6
Nor the pestilence that roams in darkness, nor the plague that ravages at noon.
7
Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, near you it shall not come.
8
You need simply watch; the punishment of the wicked you will see.
9
You have the LORD for your refuge; you have made the Most High your stronghold.
10
No evil shall befall you, no affliction come near your tent.
11
3 For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways.
12
With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone.

Anger always is hard. But do as Songs said. Throw things at the walls. Soft things. Like the balls from a ball pitt or marshmellows. Laughing is the best remedy to anything.

If there was anything I could give everyone it would be the gift of laughter...
