I wish I had known sooner that you were studying the Russian Revolution! I hope no one tries to tell you that Lenin was a sweetheart and cruelty only started with Stalin; THAT is a huge LIE. The whole gulag system was planned BY LENIN.

Thank you!! Yes I did know that Lenin decided to start Gulags. The beginning part that you posted made me run to my notes hoping I wrote it down LOL. I did.
Oh well, when it comes to my midterm review of the Russian Revolution I will be sure to ask you multiple questions
