Welcome! Good to see another adult joining us, not that we DON'T need young folks. I'm a grandfather myself.
Why bless my old badger nose, you smell familiar! <g> As I have a few spare moments here and there (particularly there), I thought I'd drop in and participate a bit. As National Commissioner of Trail Life USA and one of its National Chaplaincy, I have many demands on my time. More to the point, old friends and old habits are among those demands. Like a bad penny or a good badger, I keep showing up. Well cheerio.

Greetings from a grandfather and a U.S. Navy veteran. If you noticed the forum disappearing right after you joined, YOU didn't cause it! There was a complex network problem. Specter has fixed it.

To prove that all ages can enjoy Narnia, I am seventy-one years old. When my daughter was little, I read the Chronicles of Narnia to her.

You should let the forum read something about your What-If story ideas. My own ongoing story "Spacebullies" is full of what-if's: like, if Harley Quinn turned good and married Batman's butler.

i mainly started getting into narnia WHAT IF becuase people with star wars and marvel have already done it. so i want to give narnia this luxury.

Some things are made of the dark with blackholes for cores. Some things are made of the dark, with glowing centers. Most things that dwell within the dark emit rancor, malice, envy, hate. These things revile the light and despise what is opposite of them. Other things, while they dwell in the darkness, see the light, desperately trying to grasp it, searching for a way to become light.

Thank you for saying so. To give a highlight in my own history: almost five years ago, I became the guardian of an autistic girl who had lost her parents. She is now on TDL as "Wood Nymph."

Wood Nymph loves the movie "Spaceballs," a friendly parody of Star Wars. She urged me to try parodying the parody, so I did. My story "Spacebullies" begins immediately after the ending of the movie, as the hero sets out to learn WHAT place he is a prince OF. This kept gaining momentum, and by now the story is swarming with comicbook heroes, animated characters including anime, etc.
