This weekend should see the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe both passing $200 Million, and moving up three spots on the 2005 box office chart, passing Batman Begins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wedding Crashers by Monday. It could end somewhere around number two or three for the year, behind Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and landing somewhere near Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
This weekend also sees it coming in above King Kong as they continue to shuffle at the box office, between the #1 and #2 spots. Narnia and Kong will continue to dominate the box office until Steven Spielberg’s Munich hits a wide release, or when Glory Road hits theatres the weekend of January 13.
