   • Sorry Joshua,

     We can’t just give you a part. You have to go through the proper channels to audition. I.E. get an agent, have them look into when auditions are, and what parts are needed, that you’d be a good fit for, that sort of thing. Unless they have open casting calls, in which case, you just show up.

       I know that they are not sure if there is going to be another movie, but if there is, are there going to be open auditions?…. and will they be in Thailand?

   • There’s really no deadline, but not having an agent means that they don’t have to even look at your resume or anything thing.

5. Does anyone know where to send resume/headshot now that Disney has jumped ship?

7. Flutra. They do not usually return the photo. what you do is get a couple of those photos professionally printed and send one of them.

    1. For extras, If they look at your photo & resume [and you don’t have an agent] Do they propetly audition you for extras? or just give you the part?

    2. If they properly audition you, and they think you’re good, will they maybe call you for bigger parts in the future movies?

    3. WHY [i just felt the need to ask this] do they only have principal acting in UK? why can’t they have open casting calls for principal acting in New Zealand too? i mean there could be some good actors in NZ. Just look at Anna Paquin!

    1. I just wonder, if you don’t have an agent.. will that affect you’re change?
    2. I live in Norway (born in 1995), does that matter even if my english are very good Cause the guy who played king Miraz were from Spain?

    3. If I sen d a picture and they who are dealing with pictures for castings, and if they are interested, will they ask me to come to London or will they call me or send me a letter back?

    4. And last, I don’t have a CV cause I haven’t been on TV or any commersial stuffs… What em I going to wright in my letter with the picture?

    • 1. Not having an agent does have an effect on your chances.
      2. It doesn’t matter where you’re from. The only thing that matters is the roles they are casting.
      3. I have no idea.
      4. You should do a google search for Acting Resume. Then you might find a template that you can use for the CV.

    Im hollie and i love to act but some times i can be a bit shy. I love Narnia and i would love to be in it. I live in Sunderland but im sure in the holidays i can come down to London how would you hire a agent and how much would it cost?This would be a big oppintunity for me and my family.     I understand completely what you mean by needing an agent, but could you please specify what actions need to be taken in order to achieve one? Now, please do not take offence to any whom this may concern, I understand that it is a ‘dream’ for many people to be in cinematography and honestly, I am hooked to that ‘dream’ but the majority of ‘us’ are never going to achieve it. I am not saying that I am any different from these people, or that I do not have a chance. I am not from a big or popular state, (obviously I am not going to name which one) but could you specify some details, please? 23. Mr Martin, I sent my CV and Headshot to the casting people and it has been a couple of weeks. Recently I went on to the disney website where they put up all the castings and under Chronicles of Naris it said:
    “Disney announced they will NOT co-produce or distribute this project.” Does this mean that they have left the film and are not doing any more auditions?

    • Wow, I’m sorry! Have you not been following the news on the front page of the website? Disney dropped Narnia on Christmas Eve, and Fox picked up the project about two or three weeks ago.

    • I believe casting is still taking place, but I am not sure if it’s with the same agency now, as some things have changed.

    • 1. Yep, I believe that most of them were in other movies prior to Narnia.
      2. Don’t worry about that. If you’re a natural fit, it won’t matter.
      3. A picture is traditional. Videos are only if requested.

I have a very dear friend who is unsure of her future and desperately needs some advice..so here i am trying my best to help her in every way i can to get her into showbiz. Not that she is not confident to tell you herself,but she doesn’t know that i am writing this to you.She has a hyperactive personality that never seems to go down and is always there to cheer everyone up. She has experience in acting and i agree that she is great at it.Wanting to start small, she decided to start looking for casting auditions available for a 13 year old Indonesian. She wants it really badly and so do i as much as her. This is not any plot to get fame for myself but to my best friend.       I’m from Norway and don’t have any better change than your friend in Indonesia. What I’m trying to say is that if you get a picture of your friend, and you send a CV in your friends name(if that’s not against the law..).
      As you perhaps know, it is VERY possible to write schoolplays and that knid of stuff!!

    I googled it and all the resumes that came up was so difficult to understand that I don’t know how to do it!

    • I’m not sure that I’m the best person for that job. I’ve never written one myself. However, IMDB.com has a resume builder that I bet you can follow along with. http://resume.imdb.com/

      You don’t have to stick with them, but if you base yours on the one there, you’re in pretty good shape.

    Why is it harder to get a part in one of the Narnia movies if you don’t have got an agent?

    • Because agents have an idea of you as a person, how you’ll react to certain situations, and are doing their best to convince the casting department that you’re the right person for the role. That means that it’s not just you going for the role, but you and a spokesperson that is working on your behalf.

    • I don’t know the answers to all of your questions, but your school doesn’t count as an agent. Unless it’s an open casting call, an agent is someone that reads about all of the parts available in upcoming movies, and submits your information to the casting director.
