Since last week’s pictures, The Dawn Treader has changed slightly. We now have pictures of the ship with the other mast attached, as well as rope connecting the masts and the prow to the ship. It looks just about ready for the prime time, with the sail to be the next additions, from the looks of things. This boat has turned out to be far better than I had imagined it, and December of 2010 can’t come fast enough for me. It’s looking like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is going to be an epic adventure to remember. I can’t wait to see the first footage from the film in a teaser. Hopefully we get a good look at the ship as depicted on film.

I’ve just noticed something, on image 7, we can see, what appears to be a TAIL! TAIL, TAIL, TAIL!!!!!!!!

I agree that the Dawn Treader just looks awesome! It is amazing how much hard work people do to bring a wonderful book to life. I am looking forward to see the wonderful cast in action!

Prince Caspifan here. I said the ship looked cartoonish and silly a few weeks back. Y’know, like a viking ride. I just wanted to say that I was so wrong, and I wanted to make sure I let everybody know that I am eating a big bowl of crow right now.

this is a beautiful ship, i have noticed the 2nd mast, sweet! And i have noticed that the actors can climb on top of the dragon prow, once again sweet! I hope we won’t have to wait long for the sail, i hope its purple in colour, i will still love the treader even if it isn’t.
