There’s an artist on Deviant Art that has drawings that are very clearly Narnian characters. Included are Reepicheep, Caspian, Lucy, a Minotaur and a Dragon. The dragon is what separates the set from being from Prince Caspian, as well as the title “Narnia 3 Sketches.” The drawings feature very stylized versions of the characters, and I really like the work. Shooting for Narnia was done in New Zealand and Czech Republic. This story is bigger in scope, with a new look and vision. “Darker and more savage” because of the storyline( the Narnia creatures have been exiled), but still family entertainment. One aspect as a director that returning to Narnia allowed was to change / do over the creatures. Felt that last movie all the creatures were 20 – 25 years old. Dragon is sweet 😀
Any word on what the scale for the figures should be? I hope the VoDt ones are size compatable with the ones from PC. I hate it when a movie sequal comes out and one sereis of action figures is either bigger or smaller then the ones for the predecesor.
I hope the dragon has Eustace transforming action!

That would be so cool if the dragon had Eustace transforming action! I’m not quite sure how they’d work that out though.
Well, I guess they could do like what they did with the Bruce Banner/Hulk action figures and have a spot on the dragon you can open up and put the Eustace figure inside.

Hmm, I like them, but Lu is wearing I believe the same dress as what she wore in PC, making me wonder if this is just fan art, nothing more. But I could be wrong.

I’m in COMPLETE agreement with Raz. Personally, I think the sketches are amazing… and even if they are just fan-made, they are still great works of art. It’s exciting to see that people care enough about Narnia to spend time and effort making these great drawings. 🙂

Please tell me Reepicheep is not going to be the size of Lucy! I already am sad about how they make Lucy the same height as Susan in the Narnia:Prince Caspian figure wave!
