There is an 8 foot tall display that will be in theaters soon, for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It features many of the characters that appear on the big screen in the film, and a few that will leave people scratching their heads.
It is very similar to the huge banner that was on display at the Cannes film festival, but closer to what the actual poster will be. Not only that, but it’s our first real glimpse of some of the new characters.
One that will be confusing to a lot of people is on the right hand side of the display.
That is Tilda Swinton on the right side, appearing again as The White Witch. I can tell you right now: do not be alarmed. It’s not a big deal. She doesn’t appear for very long. I’m not sure the screentime but it’s likely to be shorter than in Prince Caspian. It’s for a dream sequence and nothing more.

Yes I do certainly agree with that as per the little white girl’s young and outstandingly similar looks to the same water girl and her sheep. By the comments and looks of the pictures I can tell the movie will be great 😀 I cant wait for it to come out. The book was fantastic 🙂

That is Ramandu’s daughter, played by Laura Brent. Paul M. can confirm this. 🙂
Mm… she looks to be a bit more of the wide-eyed-and-innocent sort and less of the stunning/elegant than I was anticipating, but she could still be cool. I’ll have to wait to see how her voice and body language turn out before forming a definite opinion.
I thought she would be the water girl with her sheep that Lucy sees in the end of the book. 😛

Peter and Susan are in the film, but don’t worry, they aren’t going to Narnia. They will most likely be in the very beginning of the film, probably dropping Ed and Lucy off at Eustace’s house. Also, Susan will appear to Lucy in a vision or dream or something like that, but that is what I’ve heard.
Also, a trailer will be coming soon…maybe in a couple of weeks? Not sure, but it’s really getting close to December, so it’ll be out within a few weeks 😀

Thats what I meant when I said “vision or dream sequence”. I think that it’ll show her as being really pretty and then have Lucy being prettier than her, so then Susan will look plain.

I don’t like the appearance of Ramandu’s Daughter, if that’s her….but I’m loving everything else. So I assume that Peter and Susan will be in Dawn Treader after all? If they showed up, that would explain why Edmund and Lucy got sent away to the Scrubbs’. Can’t wait! 🙂

while we’re on the subject of peter and susan. there’s an update (somewhere on the web, forgot where) that both anna and william have reportedly signed to two separate projects. william has rportedly signed on to do a movie called A Great Education with Emma Roberts (Nancy Drew, Hotel for Dogs) while anna has signed on for a movie called Hanna with Saoirse Ronan (who ironically starred with James McAvoy in Atonement). I can’t confirm this yet but it would be nice to see them doing something post-narnia.

Two favorite things about the display: 1. Lucy’s hair…it makes her look so grown up and pretty, and 2. Caspian’s hair!!!! It looks amazing. 😉
Looks AMAZING, but has anyone noticed how cold and distant Susan looks? I guess they’re trying to convey the message that she’s grown up and distanced herself from Narnia.
