David Arnold, the composer of the score for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, is nearing completion of the music for the film. In fact, the final mix should be finished on Tuesday, according to the composer himself:
“Finishing the mix on Tuesday….all went very well.hope you like it.” (via Twitter)
I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I can’t wait to hear it, and be taken back to Narnia by another sweeping score.

David if you are listening than I want to make sure you know that you cannot ever have a perfect album and that we (at narniafans) all know that you are doing the best you can do I will be expecting a tear or two from this music (as I had with LWW and PC) and I will be HIGHLY disappointed if I don’t! if you remember patrick i put up all those box office stats so that makes me a Flute (sometimes piccolo) nerd. this isn’t the only area in which i am a know it all.
haha, ya my sister has been in some orchestra’s (3) and so she know alot about how all the instruments act! although I don’t remember her saying anything about the piccolo what are they like? If I had to describe a trumpet player in 5 words this is what I’d say: (a little) nerdy, weirdish, are very precise, like to brag, and like to always be right! haha

I’m so excited to hear the new music. I know I can’t wait to hear it, but I wouldn’t want some bootlegged version of it to get online. There’s some bootlegged version of Sorcerer’s Apprentice wandrering around somewhere and trust me it’s so much worse than the real movie. Really excited to hear what David Arnold brings to the movie. After Harry’s two scores he’s got a lot to live up to.
