Just days after the announcement that India would be getting the movie a week earlier than the original release date of December 10, there is another announcement. Now it is Australia’s turn. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will now be released in Australia on December 2, 2010. This is a full week ahead of the original Aussie release date of December 9.
Will there be more movement in the release of the film? We’ll see!

OMG! So excited! I’ll definately be seeing it opening day. I thought it was awesome when we were getting it one day before America, but now over a week?! 😀

SO agree with Travis K! I hope I can see it on opening day! There’s a competition to see the first screening of the film on the 1st Dec at one of the cinemas on the Gold Coast. XD

Well, Megamind and Tron Legacy come out on December 9th and 16th respectively. The week of 2nd is clear of major releases apart from Red Dawn, so as far as I can see, the Narnia people have grabbed the relative lack of competition and run with it.
Good decision !!!!!
Megamind is already in has been in theaters since the beginning of November, here. I saw it and it was great, by the way! I just can’t wait until VODT comes out!!!!!
