David Arnold’s score for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will release on December 7, 2010. Here’s the full listing of tracks composed by David Arnold. The odd thing is that it doesn’t list the Carrie Underwood track, “There’s a Place for Us.” We’ll see when the final album listing is released. Also, the tracks give away the order of events in the movie. If you want to keep fresh, be aware of that. SPOILERS AHEAD!

4) Is this some kind of stupid pun, or ignorance, or typo, or is this really officially the spelling of his name for the movie?
Hey gn. I personally don’t think they misspelled it on purpose. I think it was just a non-nanrian nut who wrote them. He also spelled Reepicheep, Bern, and Coriakan wrong. Time will tell. I can’t wait for the soundtrack. Although Edmund gets called High King. And there’s a battle at the end..we’ll see.
Yeesh, I should have looked at it more closely. Really riddled with errors, isn’t it?
ya it looks like one of my friends wrote it!
Paul? Do you think we will be able to get an early copy of the soundtrack to review?
Track 9 is excellent. I loved that track and it really enhanced that scene. That is my favorite theme from the new soundtrack.
WAIT!!!!! YOU HAVE LISTENED TO IT ALREADY?!?!?!?!? HOW!!!???????????? I would LOVE TO LISTEN TO IT!!!!!!
Yeah, how did you hear it? That’s is soo cool (if it is true)
HOW DID YOU LISTEN TO ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
I have listened to it because I have seen the film.
haha ok… You better know how lucky you are David!
Nit: I’ve noticed several articles here refer to Edmund as “High King,” but he’s not. Peter is the high king, Edmund is king under him. This is emphasized throughout the books and was even in the movie dialogue in PC.
maybe thats the mysterious scene with Peter and Susan in it.
Maybe now that Peter and Susan are out of the picture, Edmund and Lucy get to be called ‘High King’ and ‘High Queen’?
maybe the High King referred to IS Peter, and the Queen is Susan. because they do show up again in the movie, maybe that is when.
Thats what I thought too, and that is what I’m hoping it is referring too. I’m also hoping that scene in the trailers whith all four Pevensies walking appears in the movie and isn’t only for the trailers.
I assumed that it was footage from Prince Caspian (movie footage, publicity footage, or leftover footage), but I wasn’t really paying attention.
ya I think its for VOTDT. kinda making me mad, but it’ll be nice to have them back for a scene
Doesn’t Lucy TURN INTO Susan sometime in VDT? Kind of weird, but that’s what I’ve heard…
Will Carrie Underwood sing a song on the soundtrack?
I’m so excited:)
First of all, if anybody noticed, there are tons of typos on the list of songs. This can’t be a final album listing, because Amazon wouldn’t be so unprofessional. (At least I hope they wouldn’t!) Second, I don’t know how long it takes for an artist to finish and record a song for a movie. It’s always possible that they will release the song AND a music video at the same time. Steven Curtis Chapman’s song “Remembering You”, was the official music video for LWW, yet I don’t remember them coming out separately (I could be wrong). It’s always possible that Carrie’s recording company ( I don’t know what the name of it is) hasn’t released the song to be listed on the soundtrack yet. If there was an official announcement saying that her song would be on the cd, it’ll be on there. But wait for the final/official album listing first before you go jumping to conclusions or freaking out. And for my part, I sincerely hope that Amazon’s typos are a result of computer error, not human. They surely should know how to spell those things correctly.
well, whatever the case I just hope I can get a copy of ‘A Place for Us’ on a CD cuz I don’t use itunes
I think Carrie’s song isn’t going to be on here: especially since it is being sold as an *exclusive* itunes single.
hmmmmmmm. ok, thanks
That’s not necessarily true. Just because it’s sold as an “exclusive” item doesn’t mean it’s excluded from the soundtrack. There’s so much legality nowadays that it’s always possible that Carrie’s recording company just hasn’t released the song to be listed yet. I’m reminded of a certain soundtrack by the name of “Enchanted” that contained Carrie’s song “Ever After”, available ONLY if you bought the soundtrack in its entirety. You couldn’t buy the song separately…something that might happen here. It’ll be on there. It isn’t December yet.
ohh my god i love it, i love it, i love it 🙂
what does the “opening credit” mean? doe it have 2 do with narnia or something?
“Opening Credit” means the song that plays as the film opens. It probably will not be the one that played in LWW or in PC. Only because it’s a new composer; somehow I doubt that he would use the same themes as the previous composer.
so it’s 5-10secs song?
do they use that song that they did when lucy & her family were on the train in the 1st movie?
Does anyone know a title for a song that came when Lucy imagine herself as Susan in a party and a photographer wants to take her picture together with Edmund and Peter?
Glenn Miller – In The Mood 🙂
what’s the last song played in the credits of VOTDT?
nevermind, it’s “Instantly” by Sergey Lazarev
