  1. Disney’s Tron might be an expensive disaster, eclipsed by Fox’s Dawn Treader? I know it’s probably too soon to shout “Schadenfreude!” but I wanted to be the first. 🙂

  2. I would like to know why there is no coverage in usatoday or tmz or the regular outlets that covered LWW and PC- is fox not on the ball or there some sort of political pressure being exerted? if u arent a narnia fan, you may not even be aware of it yet. most coverage is in the uk

    • Omigosh! that is so awesome!!! Does Eustace have a kitchen knife or is that a sword? because that is a lame sword!

      • I like! Yes, I think it is a kitchen knife… it makes more since when you see the clip instead of the still picture we wondered about.

  3. They could have alot of fun with the premieres, even more than they do now, put on a quasi-theatrical day out for people.
Dressing all up in the narnia pirate/sea ship costumes etc although I would have the kings and queens of Narnia, including Caspian, wearing their crowns and kings and queen’s outfits, but I would include the swords at the sides etc so they can all do a ‘for Narnia’ salute at some time during proceedings. Who doesn’t like dress up with fantasy kind of garb?
And when they come down the entrance way or red carpet, replicate the scene in Dawn Treader of when Caspian and co come down into the town making a big scene with ‘long live the kings n queens of narnia’ & ‘for Narnia’ by costumed town folk at the sides hailing the characters. The crowd could have fun joining in like in the novel. Have a band playing on a stage the songs from the movie, and different actors and people involved in the movie between song, having their favourite excerpts of the book read out by the appropriate actors in character (Reepicheep & Eustace would maybe get Lion’s share though if entirely left to chance), with Douglas Gresham doing the narrative – all in Narnia costume of course. Have a stall that people can buy the chronicles at also. Well I think it’d be a lot of fun and exciting show for a couple of hours for people along with the movie itself, although probably completely impratical….

The LW&W snow at premiere was a great special effect too

  4. I was there! Booked a flight to London (with 2 friends from the Netherlands) and we had such a great time! We were the screaming fans (yeah we screamed for everyone) and luckily I’ve got some autographs. I so can’t wait to see the movie and if I had the chance I would go back immediately. It was SO amazing!

  5. wahoo.. seen it!
went in for the second time to find out details of it’s opening session today and got told it was playing tonight, a week earlier than i had thought. No one seemed to know too much about it -hope not a slip up – but what a great surprise anyhow.
My friend really liked it and thought definitely better than the first two, but he also thought it was longer than them as well! 🙂 I was really looking forward to it and wasn’t disappointed. It’s different film to the first two in many ways, but definitely a great family/festive film for all people to be able to have a pleasing experience with around christmas. Reminds me abit of two hallmark family fantasy movies that i both quite like, ‘the Odyssey’ & ‘Jason & the Argonauts’ although VOTDT is on quite a different level of immersion. Also it’s more than a bit like how a dream can be, all the different events having their own kinda feel we both thought.
For me heart of thread through out in film is Eustace and….particularly when what happens with him. Things can be quite diff. to book but i would be surprised if many book fans are upset with final adaption. I’m looking forward to absorbing the film adaption in more viewings and in depth comparisons over the holiday period as it’s great to be able to go see a Narnia film playing at the cinema whenever for a while. While my fav. may probably remain Prince Caspian, i wouldn’t have wanted to see another Prince Caspian type copy, and here’s hoping TVOTDT is a big success for everyone else too.

      • It isn’t longer! LWW was 143 minutes long, PC was 150 min long, and VOTDT is 115 long! It’s great to hear another fan loved it! I’m VERY excited!

      • i’m here in New Zealand, & i’m had thought it was to be released on 8th December….not complaining though but it seems like it may be abit of an underground thing for a week, or at least a day or two:)

  6. I have to say, at first I was skeptical of how this all would go…but its looking really good now! can’t wait!

  7. Sorry, I am not always up to date with the latest *cool*. I just have to ask: what is 4D?!

    Only 7 more days!
