Actor David Payne has created a show that tells the story of the life of Narnia author C.S. Lewis through oration and humor. The effect is to make the audience feel as if they have joined a group of American writers in his home on an evening in 1963. Topics of conversation include hearing why he nearly abandoned writing Narnia and of his friendship with Lord of the Rings author J.R.R. Tolkien.

If you are interested in the life of C.S. Lewis there is another separate show now on tour called C.S. Lewis On Stage: The Most Reluctant Convert that focuses on the story of his conversion to Christianity (see tour dates for that show here).
